Welcome home. We are WNST AM 1570 Towson, Baltimore. We call this thing Baltimore Positive. We’ve changed the set from the Inner Harbor, from Oriole Park, and football. Here, we’re growing up around here at Baltimore Positive. We’re doing the Maryland Crab Cake Tour at State Fair on Thursday. People be at Pizza John’s on the second of October, almost in time for my birthday. Certainly in time for some French fries and gravy. All of it brought to you by our friends at the Maryland Lottery. I have the Kiss Face Birds. We’re doing our 28th anniversary of rock and roll. Kiss made me want to rock and roll all night. John Mayer is number 27, and AC/DC, who I’m seeing in Philadelphia next week, is number 26. So you’ll want to read up on that. And I’m having some fun around. It’s election season, so we’re having some politicians. We’ve had some athletes. We’re certainly doing some baseball residue, and we’re doing this rock and roll thing. But anytime I get like a real actor, and like his first huge big role with Tom Hanks had like a total rock and roll Beatles thing. So it’s probably good company here that I bring in the pride of Edgewood doing season two now. Blue Ridge, I guess that was good luck when you came on before. John Check joins us here. Jonathan Check, you’re Nashville, or you on set? Where are you? You shoot it someplace different, Joe, don’t you?
Johnathon Schaech 1:11
We shoot it in Charlotte, North Carolina. I live in Franklin, Tennessee.
Nestor Aparicio 1:15
So okay. So are you outside
Johnathon Schaech 1:17
of Nashville? You North Carolina?
Nestor Aparicio 1:18
Are you Nashville right now? Where are you?
Johnathon Schaech 1:20
I’m Nashville. All
Nestor Aparicio 1:21
right, so you’re not on set season. I don’t know when you you movie stars and actor types. I don’t know when you actually shoot this stuff. I just found that they shoot all the game shows all like in one weekend. Yeah, they do. So when do you want when when do you actually make Blue Ridge?
Johnathon Schaech 1:39
Well, we made Blue Ridge about a year ago until that North Carolina. So it and it came out on INSP, which is a cable network, and now it’s out on Amazon Prime, and it’s doing really well. Past two weeks, it stayed in the top 10. Well, I
Nestor Aparicio 1:52
know you threw me a note, and I wanted to get you on just to talk. I said I don’t know anything. I own a radio station, don’t know much about Arbitron, so I’m I’m last guy in the world, 30 years into this, but as far as modern streaming and being an actor, and you’ve been an actor your whole life, getting work, it. How much has your industry changed in just in regard to saying, “Hey, my show’s on Amazon, as opposed to, “Hey, I’m on ABC on Monday night or whatever, because my wife is a Netflix person, she’s an Amazon, her tablet is her television now, much more so than the big thing that sits in the corner,
Johnathon Schaech 2:26
right? Yeah, it’s it’s way different. I mean, there was only four channels when I grew up. I mean, if you could get Fox, so you really only had three.
Nestor Aparicio 2:34
You needed the antenna to get 45.
Johnathon Schaech 2:36
You could get it in somehow. Some tin
Nestor Aparicio 2:38
foil usually on top of it.
Johnathon Schaech 2:40
I mean, that’s true. That’s what we did, right?
Nestor Aparicio 2:43
Kids would never understand it, man. Actually,
Johnathon Schaech 2:47
you know, Dad would hold the hold the thing. Be like, “Don’t move.
Nestor Aparicio 2:51
Right? He said, “Put your foot on the toaster. Make it work. But I mean, I mean, when you say my show’s on a streaming network at this point. I mean, that makes it easier for people to find. And I think my wife has found Blue Ridge. By the way, I saw you like swimming and sporting. You’re in hell of a shape, dude. I mean, I hope you’re still in the shape you were in on the set a year ago, man. You look good for a young guy.
Johnathon Schaech 3:12
Well, you know, for the the opening sequence of season two, they they asked me to do a montage like Stallone or Schwarzenegger would do in in the action, you know, the series back when I was the movies that they did back in the day. So I got incredible shape for that. Yeah, I’m in good shape, but not like that.
Nestor Aparicio 3:32
You’re pretty shredded up.
Johnathon Schaech 3:34
I was shredded up.
Nestor Aparicio 3:35
Tell everybody what they’re going to find with Blue Ridge, because I mean, anybody knows Jonathan Shack, a Marylander, been in that thing you do with Tom Hanks many many moons ago. But Blue Ridge, you reached me a couple years ago, and you and I have got to know each other a little bit off the grid here with some friends locally. And you said I got this new series, and you know I’m excited about it. It’s my own show. I’ve been an actor, and I acted in this and acted in that. But this is this was a really exciting project for you, and I know to have it have success means the world to you at this point.
Johnathon Schaech 4:08
Yeah, absolutely. I I moved to Nashville, and I reached out to about five five of my friends, Tom Hanks being one, and I said, “Help me find some work because I had left all my representation, and I really I really wanted to change my life. I didn’t want to be at the mercy of the industry anymore. I had kids, and one of my friends reached out and said, “You got to work with this guy, Gary Wheeler. And he had Gary Wheeler call me, and Gary offered me Blue Ridge, which was a movie at the time. It was just you know TV movie had a lot of action in it, but it had these elements that just, I when I read it, I was like, “Wow, this is like a backdoor pilot almost. And when I was on the set, I told Gary, I was like, “You know, you could turn this into a television series. And then COVID hit, and he called. And he was like, “Listen, we want to make it into a series, but we don’t. You know, we got to wait till after the COVID thing and everything. And then he called me up. They wrote six episodes for the first season, and I was right back in my game, like what I really wanted to be. I wanted to be a leaning man again. So here I am.
Nestor Aparicio 5:17
Is it? Give me the the the the progress of it, and I don’t know much about modern TV and how many episodes are ordered. I mean, dude, I was watching Fonzie on Tuesday night. That’s what I know. You know, that’s what you know, right? That’s what made you want to be an actor, right? You know, back in the day. But I, I don’t know how these are made, and certainly how they’re funded, and that’s a whole different story. That hey, dude, I’m an old sports radio guy that’s trying to figure out the podcast and what the kids are doing. I I would think in your industry and the way it changes to get a role, to get a series, and then to have it be successful. It it takes an army to to make that happen. From your calling me a couple years ago, saying I got it, I got a lead part in a thing, and I’m like, I hope it works out for you. It seems like it’s really worked out well, but I don’t understand what happens next when you start making things. I know they stopped Cheers a few years ago, and I know when Mash ended, but I don’t know how these things continue on or don’t continue on.
Johnathon Schaech 6:08
Well, so the the network that puts together Blue Ridge, it’s called INSP. It’s a cable network, and they do really well. They’re a top 10 cable network. It’s where all the cowboy, like if you if you’re if you’re at a hotel and you’re going through and you see a cowboy movie, most likely that’s my network INSP. So they they created Blue Ridge, which is basically like a modern Western. I’m a sheriff in a in a small town, you know, modern day but very Westernish, where the sheriff is kind of the centerpiece of everything, and there’s two rival gangs, basically the Hatfields and the McCoy’s, kind of like you know, and so he’s trying to find create peace inside this this environment that is just boiling all throughout it. In the in the process, he’s trying to win his wife back, get his family back together, and that’s that’s the root of Blue Ridge. That’s what Blue Ridge is all about.
Nestor Aparicio 7:03
Well, you know, you were excited because your dad was a police officer, right? So, like, this whole has the the role was built for you, right? You did you involve your dad in in one of the shows as well?
Johnathon Schaech 7:15
Yeah. So, you know, my father when he first started as a Baltimore City police officer, he was a he walked the beat, and when he walked the beat is very similar to my character because I have to rely on my community for support. And when my dad walked the beat, he didn’t have a radio. He had you know he screamed up, “I need help here! Call call you know call the police, and they would you know most people you know, if he was in good standing with his community, they would look out for him. So that’s kind of like that’s what I think is very similar to the character Justin Wise, the sheriff of the town, and what my dad used to do. And I, I told my dad since I was playing him, you know, maybe he wanted to come out and play a role. And there was this role of a guy who was getting kicked out of his house, but he didn’t want to have to leave. And he, my dad had like you know two lines. He wrote them on his hand. We brought him out, and and then they took his glasses away so he couldn’t read his lines off his. But by that time, he knew his lines, and he was he was actually very good in the role. That’s that’s the finale episode, which stars my co-star Ethan Embry in season of the finale episode, which is episode six of season one.
Nestor Aparicio 8:28
Now you’re not the one throwing him out of the house, are you? The no, are you in the scene with him or no?
Johnathon Schaech 8:32
No, his his son Ethan, my dad’s my dad, the son is Ethan Embry, and Ethan goes rogue, and I have to go in there to to evict his father. And he goes rogue and kidnap kidnaps my family at the sheriff’s station.
Nestor Aparicio 8:51
Is this a cliffhanger at the end of the at the end of the season?
Johnathon Schaech 8:54
Man, it’s a big big deal. And you know what? Because Ethan came out, it’s sensational. He’s incredible in the role. So,
Nestor Aparicio 9:04
Jonathan Check is our guest. He is an actor extraordinaire living down near Nashville, but hailing from Edgewood. So, what do you have a name? When I say where are you from, do you say I’m from Baltimore? I’m from Bel Air. I’m from Edgewood. What? What? You’re Edgewood, though, right? And UNBC. I mean, you claim your dad was a city cop. You you’re Baltimore through and through before I even get to the Orioles and the Ravens, right?
Johnathon Schaech 9:26
Yeah, I’m I’m Baltimore. So you know anyone outside of you know like anyone in like California, I would always say Baltimore. But when you get closer to Baltimore, then you’d be like, I’m from Harford County, kind of thing, you know. And then they’d be like, “Where one guy literally was out here at Gold’s Gym two days ago. I was like, “Yeah, I I grew up in Edgewood, Maryland. He’s like, “I grew up in Aberdeen. I was like, “Oh my God, proving
Nestor Aparicio 9:52
ground, right?
Johnathon Schaech 9:53
For brothers, you know, like no one’s from the same small town, you know, no one’s from the same area, but yeah. I’m Baltimore through and through. My son’s name is Camden.
Nestor Aparicio 10:05
There you go. I mean, this is. Yeah, I’ll I’ll bring it into baseball here because I mean I can go through Tom Hanks and that and we’ll get all back to all that fun stuff. But let’s get to Orioles here because it’s the end. We got the labor thing going on. I’m going to be talking about it with Casper Wells on Thursday at State Fair, and Alan McCallum, Luke, and I are at it. We’re going to sit and watch the other teams play next week in the playoffs. And there’s going to be a World Series. We’re not going to be in it. How much do you watch, and where are you in this whole thing? Because the last couple years have been really like if I lived in Nashville and I had kids, even if his name was Camden, I’d be like, maybe you want to watch tonight. Maybe it’s it’s been a rough year. It really has been to to be witnessing it here, where we’re in the soup. Where if I think if you live somewhere else, it might be just be easy. Say it’s Tuesday night. They’re 10 games under 500. You just turn the channel a little bit, and I think that that’s a concern for the Oros all the way around because you and Joan Jett and all the other celebrities need to be watching them, and they need to keep you interested. They need to win, man.
Johnathon Schaech 11:03
I know, but my buddies are my my friends from Edgewood are still texting me as we speak about the doubleheader that’s going on. And now, if we still had Ward at leadoff, we might, you know. But every kid, every player on the team, I say kid. That’s funny.
Nestor Aparicio 11:21
They would feel that way, especially when you get the gray in here, dude. Right? All right.
Johnathon Schaech 11:26
There’s only two guys hitting over 230 in the whole lineup. So
Nestor Aparicio 11:29
I know, man. Like Luke and I were talking about most valuable Oriole. There’s Alonzo, and there’s like that’s it, right? And he’s been a joy, right?
Johnathon Schaech 11:36
Oh, he’s amazing, and I hope he wins that RBI title. That would be great. He deserves everything. That guy’s a great dude.
Nestor Aparicio 11:43
So you do you watch? You you you watch a couple nights a week.
Johnathon Schaech 11:47
I try not to because they break your heart night after night, and you want to get into the groove, and then you just see like these mistakes, and you’re like, hopefully they’re going to correct them, and then they just don’t correct the mistakes. But
Nestor Aparicio 11:58
let’s find out what kind of your dad’s alive and well. How old’s your dad? Don’t don’t let’s not date it too much. But like, dad
Johnathon Schaech 12:03
is 87 years old.
Nestor Aparicio 12:04
Oh my God! Holy hell! I just moved
Johnathon Schaech 12:07
him from Baltimore to here.
Nestor Aparicio 12:09
Oh, okay. Well, maybe next time
Johnathon Schaech 12:11
with me. We’re gonna have we’re gonna have the
Nestor Aparicio 12:13
two of you on together at some point. So your your 87-year-old father, Jonathan Sheck, Baltimore Colts fan, right? As as
Johnathon Schaech 12:22
yeah, of course. Okay,
Nestor Aparicio 12:23
so how did it go? And you and I are kind of contemporary. Like I went to a lot of Colts games as a boy, right? Like so, they were. I was 16 when they left, but my dad took me to games when I was. I mean, I was at the the the Dolphins game, the Fog game with Tony Leonard. I was at a lot of the big games. The game with the plane went in with Croner in 1976. So your dad, when he sees Colts versus Ravens, does it freak him out at that age? I mean, he’s Ravens. He’s got to be. He’s right.
Johnathon Schaech 12:49
Hardcore Ravens fan. Right.
Nestor Aparicio 12:51
Okay. So when he when we played the Colts in week one, does he does he have a side eye? Because most people that age really they never got. They’re still pissed. I mean, most people my age, are still pissed. But I’m the one guy that’s sort. I made friends with Jimmy Irsay during life’s journey as a sports radio guy, and I just decided, like, why be angry at those people? We’ve got two titles here, you know what I mean? But I’m thinking your dad might be worked up about the Colts,
Johnathon Schaech 13:13
whatever. And we took we took the Browns. I
Nestor Aparicio 13:17
got to steal a team. We
Johnathon Schaech 13:18
turned the Browns around, then they decided not to turn them around again. They’re still horrible. Yeah, my dad and me don’t even think about the Colts, but I have to tell you, when we started playing the Colts, that that those colors it hurt like weird
Nestor Aparicio 13:35
shout,
Johnathon Schaech 13:35
weird, weird feeling. Yep,
Nestor Aparicio 13:39
and I’m sure for your dad it was too. So that’s why I said I brought it up. We played the Colts. When I think of older people, I write about it like it’s just a game, and then some people are like, “Oh no, it’s never just a game. When it’s it’s the Indianapolis Colts. For you, with you know, I guess the sports part of this and the Baltimore part. How often do you get back? I mean, do you get to an Oriole game once a year, every couple? I don’t know. I I know you’re busy with what you’re doing, raising a family. Your wife’s busy on social media. You got in for Gus to drink some wine and do some family stuff. But how often do you get home, as we would say here in Edgewood?
Johnathon Schaech 14:11
Well, it’s going to be less and less because my parents are here now. But I, you know, I go back to see my parents all the time. But now I get I’ll go back and see my buddies and see Gus. Yep, that’s it’s gonna be different. We’re gonna probably have to go see a a one game a year, you know.
Nestor Aparicio 14:27
Well, I mean, which like Cincinnati’s kind of sort of close, but not. I mean, you get on a plane if you want to come see them, right? So your connection to Maryland involved. What do you miss when you’re not here? Now that you’re gonna be here less, like what’s the first thing you do when you land when you’re here? Because I really tell you, like my wife is from New Hampshire. When she lands, she goes to this specific place and gets chicken tenders in the mudslides. She’s got a place, you know. I’m sure, like I don’t know what it’s like to not live here, dude. I’m I’ve never not lived here. Yeah.
Johnathon Schaech 14:57
Well, I got my buddies back home, and and that’s who I checked. With, I just want to be able to see them. Whatever span of time I’m there, I’m always trying to get to see them. Well,
Speaker 1 15:06
see the family, see
Johnathon Schaech 15:07
their kids growing up, and all that.
Nestor Aparicio 15:09
And we get a little older. All right, give me the Blue Ridge deal here. What do you need everyone to do right this minute to support you if they know you and they love thing you do and they love Tom X, they love supporting the Baltimore guy as I do, or even if they just drink Gus’s wine and they want to help you out,
Johnathon Schaech 15:24
you can go see. You know, first off, you’ll enjoy Blue Ridge. Everyone seems to really like it a lot. It is stream. It is trending still for 10 days straight. We’re number six overall in television, number eight in overall on Amazon Prime, so that’s television and movies. So at first, because we’re not an original and we’re not exclusive to Amazon Prime, you could probably get it over a Hulu, maybe Peacock. I mean, we have we’re at different platforms, but the the Amazon audience loves us, so it gives us really big numbers. I mean, so what I would tell everyone in the beginning is they’re not going to know that we came out because they don’t promote us at all. They’ll promote, you know, Reacher and the the spinoff of Reacher, but they’re not going to promote Blue Ridge. No matter if you saw it before, they won’t say, “Hey, you know, season two come out of Blue Ridge. They they don’t do that. So in the beginning, I was telling everyone to just turn on their TV and just leave it on the entire evening, so we could get all eight episodes downloaded, so we get eight as opposed to just one episode at a time.
Nestor Aparicio 16:34
There’s eight total episodes, correct?
Johnathon Schaech 16:36
Total episodes in the second season.
Nestor Aparicio 16:38
See, my wife watched the second season. How many were in the first season?
Johnathon Schaech 16:42
There’s six. So I said, “This
Nestor Aparicio 16:43
is where I’m at. There’s 14. So I’m an idiot about this. And I said to her, she said to me, “I she’s having lunch. And I said, “Yeah, I haven’t, John Sheckler. Hey, tell us hello. And she watched the episode, and I watched her watching you in the water and like all that. And I said, “Did you watch? Is that the first? She’s like, “No, it’s a first. Is it second season, I’m like, you come in in the middle, and then I’m thinking she’s like, well, I came in in the middle of Dallas and Knox Landing. You didn’t see the first episode of General Hospital, but you watched it, and I’m thinking, but like, don’t people binge watch these things? Like, when you find it, don’t you watch the first one? I don’t know. I mean, can you come in in season two, episode three, and be lost, or do you need to watch it in the beginning? Because I just don’t know.
Johnathon Schaech 17:23
You know, it’s a procedural. So something happens every week. It’s usually a different different scenario that makes you
Nestor Aparicio 17:29
want to go backwards and watch the beginning, kind of sort of.
Johnathon Schaech 17:32
No, it it finishes it by the end of the episode. So it’s a procedural. So something happens, we solve it by the end of the episode. But so it’s so
Nestor Aparicio 17:41
so it’s not a soap opera in that way. I got it. You can watch any episode interchangeably. I got it. Okay.
Johnathon Schaech 17:48
And you know the relationship with my wife. If you watch my my TV wife, you you could see the arc within that and the relationships between my you know deputies, you know the bad guys. Dude, if I’m
Nestor Aparicio 18:03
committing 14 hours to watch your show, I’m gonna watch the first one first. I like for me. That’s how I’m gonna do it. I I don’t want to be lost. That’s why I don’t look over her shoulder when she’s watching whatever she’s watching. I’m like, I’m not coming in in the middle of this. You know, I just don’t like middle of a ball game maybe, but not middle of. I mean, I’d be lost, and I’d be like, “Let me go back to the beginning. Like, I wouldn’t start a book in the middle. I just wouldn’t.
Johnathon Schaech 18:27
There, each one of them is a little entertaining little show. So,
Nestor Aparicio 18:31
all right. Well,
Johnathon Schaech 18:32
yep, I’m. I’m with you. You know, Blue Bloods. If you turn on Blue Bloods, you can watch. They’ll have a murder or something, and they have to solve by the end of the end of the episode.
Nestor Aparicio 18:42
All right. So look, I have an AI clone hire
Johnathon Schaech 18:44
or justified and very they they they say that we’re very like much like Yellowstone.
Nestor Aparicio 18:51
Fair enough. Blue Ridge is the series. Jonathan Scheck of Edgewood, Maryland, is our guest and always coming back. All right. So let’s. I I some everybody wants the Tom Hanks you. You were the guy in that thing you do. Which, what a great movie! We can sing the song together if we want. You said something about Tom Hanks, and my clone knows everything because it reads everything. And you said something in regard to on the Blue Ridge set, you wanted to bring what Tom Hanks brought to sets that he left you, which was this professionalism, and everybody’s ready to work, and there’s energy and all of that. What’s what’s the one thing that that when you think of Tom Hanks on a set that you have to bring because you do bring it with you? That it’s like this is the most important thing when you get a gig like
Johnathon Schaech 19:35
this. It’s kindness. I bring kindness to the set, so I know everyone’s going through something, so when they come to my set, I try to take care of them, just like Tom took care of me.
Nestor Aparicio 19:46
Yeah, there you go. That’s sweet of you, man. How’s your family and stuff? I’m everything good. Everybody’s happy.
Johnathon Schaech 19:52
Everyone’s happy. Yeah. So,
Nestor Aparicio 19:54
so as an actor, dude, like you, you get other gigs and other roles. This is obviously I. A nice chunk of your life here the last couple years, but like what, what happened? What’s it like to be an actor? I’m always looking for my next sponsor. Thank you, Rosedale Bank. But I’m
Johnathon Schaech 20:09
looking for next next gig. Always, no matter what. I, you know, I just did a another movie with Tom Hanks. He got me in Greyhound too. I had to fly to Australia to do it. It was pretty magnificent. So I’ve always wanted to be a part of a World War II movie, you know. So Tom wrote me a part in his next movie, so I went out there and shot
Nestor Aparicio 20:29
it. And I got friends, but I ain’t friends with Tom Hanks. So you know, like it’s it’s really been a pleasure to get to know you. I love when you reach out to me once or twice a year, and we keep this communication going, and you get to speak to the homeboys here, from Edgewood all the way down to UMBC and anywhere in between, and I’m glad your dad’s doing well. And it’s kind of neat that you got him into the show. When I found that out, I thought that was cool. I
Johnathon Schaech 20:50
found this to be probably the coolest thing ever. On Instagram, I noticed that Hammerjacks is following me. Hammerjacks, yeah, they’re following me. How crazy is that?
Nestor Aparicio 21:04
See, I knew there’d be a rock and roll thing. Did you ever go to Hammerjacks?
Johnathon Schaech 21:07
Used to go to Hammerjacks all the time.
Nestor Aparicio 21:09
Let’s go. I I want to hear some Hammerjack. Give me when you think of Hammerjacks, other than the girls and the hairspray and the leather and like all that scantily clad. You know what? When you think of packed, what do you think of when you think of Hammerjacks,
Johnathon Schaech 21:22
rock and roll.
Nestor Aparicio 21:23
Which shows did you see?
Johnathon Schaech 21:25
I probably saw Kicks for sure. That was the big band when I was
Nestor Aparicio 21:30
New Year’s Eve every year, man.
Johnathon Schaech 21:32
Yeah, I think I saw Joan Jett there. Who else? I don’t think I saw. I don’t think I saw those. Saw

the Ramones once in my life, and I saw them there. I mean, I’m going through this right now because I’ve been to several 1000 concerts. I was the music critic at the Evening Sun back in the late ’80s. So I mean, I interviewed Bill Joel. Oh, I’ve interviewed Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, and and I’ve asked Paul McCartney questions. I’ve asked Bruce Springsteen a question. So, like, that’s why I’m doing my 28th rock and roll. So, when you said Hammerjacks is following me, I’m like, Hammerjacks has been following me since like 1986. I mean, I, you know, all the ghosts of the Black Crows and the alarm and all of that stuff. So, you’re right in my wheelhouse, dude. You start talking rock and roll. Wait, you listen? You saw rock and roll, guy. What do you listen to? What’s your primary band?
Johnathon Schaech 22:21
Well, I have kids, so I I wind up listening to a lot of hits hits
Nestor Aparicio 22:28
pop music.
Johnathon Schaech 22:28
Bruno Mars, you know.
Nestor Aparicio 22:30
Oh, my wife loves Bruno Mars.
Johnathon Schaech 22:32
My kids love Bruno Mars. Well, my daughter loves Taylor Swift,
Nestor Aparicio 22:37
as every daughter should love Taylor’s. I loved. I I’m the son who loves Taylor Swift. I even love her husband. How about that? So it’s all fun. Jonathan Check is here. He’s an actor extraordinaire looking for his next gig, but still a part of Blue Ridge. And you can find that out on Amazon. Just put it in. He’s got a funny spelling of both of his front man, first and last name. But you have interesting. Does anybody ever spell it right perfectly the first time? No,
Johnathon Schaech 23:00
I just from another film that was like you guys got it wrong. I know spell check is is fighting you on this, and you can Google me and it’ll get it right, but you won’t get it right. So make sure you get it right. Well, you’re a
Nestor Aparicio 23:12
Jonathan with an H, which is really unusual, right? And then a Shek with an A E C H, which is sort of old world European. You got it going on, man. You know,
Johnathon Schaech 23:22
crazy. Didn’t think to change my name back in the day.
Nestor Aparicio 23:27
You know, I saw the Neil Diamond musical. It was one of the great, one of the best probably shows I’ve ever seen. It’s about six months ago to Impertrum, and part of the shtick is that they wanted him to change his name. His real name was Diamond, hey man, it’s always good catching up with you. Blue Ridge, go check it out, everybody out there. And dude, next time I get together with you, we’re gonna be talking about good purple things, or like not like they lost last weekend and they’re one and one. Next time I get you on, we’ll get you on during the playoffs when they’re on the right side of the track going. Maybe someplace they’ll take you out to L.A. to watch him win a Super Bowl.
Johnathon Schaech 24:01
My dad needs it. He’s 87. I need a championship with him out here.
Nestor Aparicio 24:06
It’s not going to happen with the Orioles right now. Jonathan Check, actor extraordinaire, go check him out in Blue Ridge out on Amazon. I am Nestor. We are WNST AM 1570 Towson, Baltimore, and Edgewood. We never stop talking. Baltimore positive. Stay with us.
