For all of you fellow 1970โ€™s WWWF fans, Iโ€™ve got some good news and bad news.

Earlier this week Bruno Sammartinoโ€™s wife had an emergency knee replacement and he called me two days ago and asked if we could reschedule the July 18th date to later in the year. Obviously, itโ€™s disappointing that weโ€™re going to move the date into the fall but at least weโ€™re doing our best to make it happen.

Candidly, ticket sales havenโ€™t been what we anticipated but weโ€™re still in a position to make the event happen even if itโ€™s downscaled a bit.

I want to give Bruno a week to get his wifeโ€™s rehab in place and weโ€™ll look for an appropriate date in the Fall.

Hope you understand and know that Iโ€™m JUST as excited as the many whoโ€™ve written me to say itโ€™s a pretty cool and unique event. Iโ€™ve still never met Bruno and itโ€™s been a thrill to just chat with him on the phone.

If you know of some other wrestling friends who would like to attend the event we still have every intention of making this happen.

Weโ€™ll get you more details when I can circle the wagons and get a new date.
