For all of you fellow 1970’s WWWF fans, I’ve got some good news and bad news.

Earlier this week Bruno Sammartino’s wife had an emergency knee replacement and he called me two days ago and asked if we could reschedule the July 18th date to later in the year. Obviously, it’s disappointing that we’re going to move the date into the fall but at least we’re doing our best to make it happen.

Candidly, ticket sales haven’t been what we anticipated but we’re still in a position to make the event happen even if it’s downscaled a bit.

I want to give Bruno a week to get his wife’s rehab in place and we’ll look for an appropriate date in the Fall.

Hope you understand and know that I’m JUST as excited as the many who’ve written me to say it’s a pretty cool and unique event. I’ve still never met Bruno and it’s been a thrill to just chat with him on the phone.

If you know of some other wrestling friends who would like to attend the event we still have every intention of making this happen.

We’ll get you more details when I can circle the wagons and get a new date.
