In March 1990, The Black Crowes were about to shake their money maker as an opening act for a long-forgotten band named Junkyard at Hammerjacks. Less than 100 people would attend the show. In the summer of 2009 when the “American Idol” craze took over our country, the touring troop came through Baltimore to play the Arena. Nestor Aparicio sat down with most of that season’s crew before the local show but it turns out that Adam Lambert would be the biggest star of them all and now returns to the Charm City as the longtime lead singer of Queen.
