“There’s like rookie receivers everywhere going crazy, and everybody is talking about us. But we embrace it. It’s a challenge.”

The 2019 NFL MVP dismissed the notion that he feels he needs to win a Super Bowl to be worthy of a lucrative extension.

“We’re just trying to prove ourselves. We know what we can do. We all believe in each other. No matter what the media says, what other people say, we don’t pay attention to any of that.”

“I’ve always believed in guys that are interchangeable, guys that are able to do different jobs and go out there and go play.”

“He’s a Year 15 guy, so he knows the ins and outs of the National Football League. He’s a great guy, great player, Walter Payton Man of the Year.”

“When we don’t draft a wide receiver, what the organization is saying to you is, ‘We brought you here for a reason, and it’s your time.’”

“Everybody can look good in shorts and a t-shirt, so I’m excited for him and all of the other guys that I think are going to be a really big help to us this year.”

“He’s getting open at the line super, super quick, and then he’s got a burst of speed that people don’t really talk about.”

Once he decided to return in 2022, Calais Campbell said he was confident he would stay with the Ravens.

The Ravens head coach had nothing but praise for the star quarterback after his first practice in Owings Mills since last December.

“I’m comfortable now. Everything is in a rhythm, so now that I can be in those positions, I can stay on the field all the time now.”

“I honestly believe that [if] he continues to get better, continues to grow, continues to work on the little details, he can be one of the best linebackers in the National Football League.”

With established veterans and two fourth-round rookies, George Godsey has no shortage of talent in his position group.

“This whole process for me, going through this whole injury has been a lot. Just staying motivated and just keep working every single day.”

Dean Kremer pitched well after surrendering a three-run homer in the first inning, but the Baltimore bats didn’t offer much support in defeat.

The Orioles aren’t ruling out Grayson Rodriguez returning to game action before the end of 2022, but they’ll be cautious with their top pitching prospect.

“It’s tough on opposing offenses to not know where you’re going to be at every play. When you go out there, they want to know what position you’re in.”

On Thursday, the general manager said the organization was still determining the severity of the injury and timetable for Grayson Rodriguez’s return.

“Our goal as coaches is to find the best 11 guys in any given situation and be able to get them out there so they can go play.”
