As we all sit around the Charm City feeling sorry for ourselves and wondering if the Ravens can actually win the six games Vegas has assigned them for the 2008 season, I stumbled across the game story for the Bengals latest preseason action and was heartened that they might actually stink worse than we do.

Carson Palmer got his nose bloodied. The Bengals didn’t score. And, of course, the Northern Kentucky and Southern Ohio faithful gave the “Who Deys” the Bronx cheers over the weekend in the Queen City.

I’m not asking for miracles this season, but starting the season 1-0 is the best place to start!
