4. Calvert Hall-Loyola football – A slice of Americana. This game matters to the kids. It matters to the parents. And for the alumni, who often travel from all over the country to come back for a Thanksgiving ritual that defines the two schools, their heritage and their still-very-significant present, you don’t need to have attended Calvert Hall or Loyola to appreciate that this is a tradition unlike any other in Baltimore prep sports. I usually watch it on TV but my Facebook timeline explodes every year for this one.
