8. White Marlin Open in Ocean City – So, I’m not a fisherman but I did catch a big fish once. It’s the world’s largest billfish tournament and it packs ‘em in downey o’shun. People come from all over the world to compete, tell tall tales and fish Maryland waters for a grand prize. The pictures of the action afterward when they’re weighing the prizes looks awesome and I’ve never heard a bad word about this one. It’s legit and it’s a big deal.
