Orioles prospect Chance Sisco has been selected to play in the All-Star Futures Game at Petco Park in San Diego next month.

Considered one of the best prospects in Baltimore’s farm system, the 21-year-old catcher is hitting .309 with 16 doubles, 23 RBIs, and a .401 on-base percentage in 258 plate appearances for Double-A Bowie this season. In 50 games behind the plate this season, Sisco has caught 23 of 77 runners attempting to steal.

A 2013 second-round pick from Corona, Calif., Sisco is a career .323 hitter in four minor-league seasons, which included a .340 campaign with Single-A Delmarva in 2014.

The Futures Game features many of the best prospects in baseball divided into U.S. and World teams and will take place on July 10.
