With so many local businesses shuttered due to the COVID-19 crisis in America, we decided this week to focus solely on the arts and entertainment institutions in the Baltimore area and how they are being impacted by all aspects of the corona virus.

If you love the arts and have been a supporter of theater, music, galleries or museums, please take some time to subscribe to Baltimore Positive and hear all of these incredible stories of perseverance and storytelling that makes our city so rich with culture, tradition and cool, creative people keeping our energy alive – even during a crisis unlike any in our lifetimes.

This is Peter Kjome, President and C.E.O. of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, who updated us on all aspects of life for the BSO in this crisis and what the musicians are doing to stay active and vibrant. He also has some interesting life experiences in the music and masks as an executive with 3M. Listen and learn! We did…

Clearly, a lot has changed and it’s happening very quickly – and crisis management has become the key role for all us during the pandemic.

We are all in this together and this is a time to educate, unite and keep each other safe. But we also have some extra time to read and learn and educate ourselves in many ways.

We will continue to produce high-quality, intelligent conversations with thought leaders throughout this pandemic at Baltimore Positive. And we expect to do it at a rapid pace so stick with us and subscribe!

Like all others, we have halted a “live schedule” and will continue to launch our chats as we have them during this crisis. Expect more than less.

Because of the election moving to June 2nd, we will be having more of the mayoral candidates back to Baltimore Positive to discuss all of the current issues and the additional five weeks of virtual campaigning for the hopefuls.

Please subscribe to Baltimore Positive and stay with us.

We were built for this…

Dear Mike Elias: A brand new season and manager means real fresh hope – and nowhere to hide anymore

Dear Mike Elias: A brand new season and manager means real fresh hope – and nowhere to hide anymore

I would've fired you last May when you fired your manager and then hid for three days. Your "leadership" stinks but I do believe your baseball team can be a playoff contender this summer. But on the heels of last place, at some point the record belongs to you...
Resurrecting The Boss

Resurrecting The Boss
