With the 2020 General Assembly around the corner and the new year about to begin, we can’t think of a better conversation than speaking about all Maryland issues with the new Speaker of the House of Delegates, Adrienne Jones, who joined us at State Fare in December before the holiday.
Over the past two decades, Madam Speaker Jones has been very influential and has served on many joint committees en route to this esteemed position of leadership that came as a surprise to her last spring.
This is the first of two long chats about her long road from Cowdensville and Arbutus and Lansdowne High School in Baltimore County to Annapolis. In our second half, we’ll discuss the many upcoming General Assembly topics including Kirwan, education and transportation with Delegate Jones.
We have taken some time this month to add some “holiday bonus” editions of Baltimore Positive that will be coming your way into December with Marty Schwartz, Debbie Phelps and Isaac Hametz and in addition to our long-form chats with Baltimore City police commissioner Michael Harrison and the incomparable Wes Moore to start 2020 with bonus positivity.
Nestor and Don are also just released a 100th episode retrospective on Baltimore Positive.
We’d be “thankful” this holiday season if you subscribe to Baltimore Positive and make it a part of your weekly routine!
