It is rare that we hear a siting local politician discuss term limits but Councilman Bill Henry isn’t just talking about it – he’s acting upon it with his current candidacy to unseat longtime Baltimore City Comptroller Joan Pratt on April 28th.

In a wide-ranging discussion about all of the issues of money and government – including where all of your tax dollars are going in city government and who decides where they are spent – the Councilman from the 4th District discussed his lifetime of local advocacy of our city and his background from Loyola Blakefield and political work before becoming involved as a candidate.

This is the finale of three chats, which focused on his background, family history in government and candidacy for the role of Comptroller of Baltimore and how the watchdog role involved in watching the spending and allocation of funds, can be extremely important to the future of the city. This was an eye-opening chat about the money of the taxpayers and the power of the Mayor of Baltimore to spend it.

We have a pair of lengthy chats State Senator Mary Washington, who is one of many candidates running for Mayor of Baltimore, coming later this week as we ramp up our content in advance of the spring elections.
