Discussing the story of Baltimore through as many lenses as possible has always been our goal at Baltimore Positive.

Reverend Al Hathaway needs no introduction to anyone who has spent time in West Baltimore or near Union Baptist Church, which has been a centerpiece of the community since the 1860s.

This podcast was designed to allow folks to tell their whole story and Hathaway took us on a Baltimore journey that was unforgettable.

In Part One, Hathway discusses his life as a student at City College in the 1960 with classmates like Elijah Cummings and Kurt Schmoke and teachers like NFL great George Young.

Parts Two and Three take a deeper dive into the long history of how the church and the community have worked together in West Baltimore to overcome injustice.

As Nestor stated early in the podcast, we’ve all seen Rev. Hathaway show up on a local corporate television station with a soundbite after an urban tragedy. This was our chance to get to know more about his story and his incredible work in our town.

Any list of questions for Bisciotti should begin with Tucker – and anything else we've missed since Lamar was drafted

Do you have your own "Dear Steve Bisciotti" list of questions? We do. And we will, as Luke Jones will be in The Castle on Tuesday afternoon as the Baltimore Ravens owner and general manager Eric DeCosta will address (some of) the local media and take some questions about the search for a new coach after the firing of John Harbaugh this week. Plenty of depth here about the culture of the building in Owings Mills and the future leadership of the football operation.
