EPISODE 9: Mikulski says Baltimore's many assets must be emphasized for improvement

Our Baltimore Positive kicked into overdrive this week as we sat with the legendary Barbara Mikulski to discuss the state of the world and how our city can thrive in the future.

Several times in this conversation, the always feisty Mikulski eschews “no-stalgia” and says she’s not here to talk about the past. Needless to say, we learned a lot during our first Baltimore City sit down on the campus of Johns Hopkins University.

This is the third and final part of our conversation with Senator Mikulski: Episode 9.

Next week, Episodes 10, 11 and 12 will feature an incredibly insightful chat with Damian O’Doherty of KO Public Affairs about how Columbia and the towns between Baltimore and Washington affect the whole region.

Our next live Baltimore Positive chat will be Thursday, May 30th at State Fare in Catonsville with UMBC President Freeman Hrabowski. The show starts at 9 a.m. We hope to see everyone with Retriever Fever in The ‘Ville.

We will do many #BaltimorePositive chats in the coming days and weeks. We expect that no conversation will be finer than this one with Barbara Mikulski.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend listening to a true American patriot speak her mind.
