That portrait of him in the camel hair coat hanging over the lobby in Owings Mills will be there forever, or as long as Steve Bisciotti is of this earth. It is appropriately warm, welcoming, and almost comforting, especially if you knew Art.

Art Modell is always looking over the Baltimore Ravens.

No one will ever take Art’s picture off the wall in Owings Mills. No one will ever deny his accomplishments or his legacy or his character in Baltimore. And as long as Bisciotti, Newsome, and any of the remnants of their disciples are entrenched in running the Ravens, Modell will be in the building in spirit and in practice every day. His blood and sweat are in those walls at The Castle.
