Dennis Koulatsos 00:02
Welcome back. My next guest is Nestor J. Aparicio doing great things at Baltimore positive and also throughout the entire Baltimore, Maryland, greater metropolitan area community. And beyond. Nestor, welcome in.
Nestor Aparicio 00:16
Hey, man, whatโs going on? How are you?
Dennis Koulatsos 00:18
Doing? Fantastic. Had a wn st listener stop in the other days?
Nestor Aparicio 00:23
To tell you hello. Oh really? Thatโs the one we have that one weโll
Dennis Koulatsos 00:27
call him Mr. Martin
00:28
really nice guy came down and made a point to seek me out and
Nestor Aparicio 00:33
say hello and thank you Mr. Martin, I appreciate that. Itโs
00:36
always nice when people stop and we talk about that blue
Nestor Aparicio 00:39
truck over there with the white top and say, Listen, so me on it. Because like, hereโs the thing, and Iโll be honest with you, because weโll talk cars here for a minute cuz we never do this, because itโs your segment, not mine. But I do want to talk about cars, because weโre sort of in the market but my wife, weโre close to pay. Oh, you know, itโs like, do we want to do what four wheel drive? Are we there?
Dennis Koulatsos 00:59
She has one one and a half toes in the water.
Nestor Aparicio 01:02
I would take my daughter in lawโs car that you sold her because
Dennis Koulatsos 01:06
by the way, the C max one he wants to trade in.
Nestor Aparicio 01:09
She wants to come see you about getting a new car. So Iโm thinking to myself a car. Iโd like to but but her car has the fake gas pump at night with the funny light and the electric. Iโm talking about. You still
Dennis Koulatsos 01:21
get 45 miles to the gallon to hybrid. Itโs one of my favorite vehicles of all time.
Nestor Aparicio 01:25
I donโt understand it.
Dennis Koulatsos 01:27
My daughter
Nestor Aparicio 01:28
stole it from me. I told you I stole it from him one night, right? I had to go over there banging on the door light car. Right?
Dennis Koulatsos 01:34
Itโs a great car. My daughter leaves one and I kicked myself I showed her lease terminated I should have bought that vehicle low mileage. I used to love taking it down to the stadium because you could park it easy. It moves real well, smooth ride. I mean, itโs just a fantastic vehicle.
Nestor Aparicio 01:49
It sounds like it would get me from here to there very, very capably. Very good about
Dennis Koulatsos 01:54
that. And 45 miles to the gallon. I mean, itโs an amazing vehicle. Thatโs one thing. Iโm a big fan of hybrid vehicles. That way you can plug in if you want to if you donโt want to you donโt. And you still get fantastic gas mileage.
Nestor Aparicio 02:06
What is plug in mean, what would I have to do at my house? Or because I see them when Iโm out at places. But like Iโm thinking to myself, my kids got this thing that makes his car plug in. Heโs young, heโs smart. Donโt tell anybody. But like I donโt, I wouldnโt even Iโm literally asking you out loud, like a total idiot like that. If I took my daughter in lawโs car, I went over there in the middle of night and I stole their car. And I saw this big was a blue red. Itโs it looked like a disco like plugged into the gas tank to me they
Dennis Koulatsos 02:37
actually have a plug at their house. Yeah, it was. I didnโt know that. Yeah, thatโs even better for that. Because a lot of our customers never even use a plug. If itโs a hybrid, they just go to the gas station. But if theyโre plugging in, I mean, theyโre, theyโre not paying any money for gas. So you just, you just get your wiring done and your plug thatโs probably about 1000 $1,200. And there you go. You never visited another gas station, the rest of your life.
Nestor Aparicio 03:03
What can I complain about new cars being broken? I be an old guy here before I get to get off my lawn. You can be an old guy, but you donโt look old. So I if I can grab the device. I actually thought I had it nearby. I think it did. But I got an iPod Classic recently that I find to be useful airports flying music, because I donโt like music on my phone. This is my Iโm typing on this. Iโm working on this. I donโt like working on this. I donโt like typing on this. Iโm a traditional if I write anything. I donโt I donโt do well on small glands. Right? You want a PC, you want something? And of course so for me, I got a rental car. I donโt know recently chastened Springsteen, Florida someplace. And it was brand new, because you always want the ones that smell good, especially when youโre in Florida, right? Not the ones with the crackers in the backseat, you know, kids in orange juice and whatever. So I got a very new clean car and it had no plugin. It was sort of Bluetooth only. It didnโt know what a mini jack was. And I was like you know, so I am afraid of the new vehicle a little bit high. But they literally sell me because youโre doing this thing. And I should admit to you and this is a total fallen for the Ford Motor Company. My favorite car ever. And I know Iโve told you this was a Ford contour. SVT I had a like I had this. I wish I still had it. It was a five speed and had everything I want from the minute I drove it. Iโm like, I want that car and this is 25 years ago, isnโt it? 96 5678 there been a minute Yeah, yeah. So so me on the next car Iโm gonna love because my wife has she we pulled up saw this car in traffic. And she was like, because she remembers the old Thunderbirds with the white top. Remember that 25 years ago, maybe they brought that line out. This reminded us of that a little
Dennis Koulatsos 04:56
bit. Thatโs why itโs called the heritage heritage edition because didnโt remind us of our heritage. Thatโs why you have the color scheme and you have the white rims on the vehicle dimensional white top. You have that Houston oil or baby blue color. We can put a red pinstripe on that too. That is completely I was completely
Nestor Aparicio 05:13
unprepared for the segment today. And I have a special I have a special piece that I want to introduce here is I get back in I did you What did you call it? Did you say was Columbia blue or do you did you didnโt say TARIO blue?
Dennis Koulatsos 05:30
I said Houston Oiler blue.
Nestor Aparicio 05:33
Lansdowne Viking blue.
05:35
There you go.
Nestor Aparicio 05:36
You know that that i i made this happen? There you go. I made the Warren Moon I made I made the commitment of $37.90 on the internet. Man. It is a little odiferous, I must say. But I havenโt Leigh Steinberg coming on the show and he has a picture of Warren Moon on his desk. So Iโm gonna I think Iโm gonna wear this when I do Leigh Steinberg here.
Dennis Koulatsos 06:01
Was that Lisa? Was the client. Was he a client? Yeah,
Nestor Aparicio 06:05
originally Correct. Yeah, back in the day and David Meltzer as well. Iโve had both of those guys on. Hey, I getting back to is there anything else we should say about the heritage like? So it is? Is it a hybrid or is it not? I think about that. Thatโs a regular vehicle for
Dennis Koulatsos 06:20
gas. But itโs, itโs limited. Itโs a limited production model. Itโs but itโs a nod to its rich history. You know, thatโs what it is. Itโs it goes it takes you back at retro. But he
Nestor Aparicio 06:31
might get a look and see like paneling inside is like
Dennis Koulatsos 06:35
not like that. No, but retro look on interior. I also have a bright yellow on my showroom floor. Looks like Ronald McDonald to be driving. In fact, I sent it to McDonaldโs. Hereโs a plug for them a free one. But these retro looking vehicles are their thing. And theyโre very hot, very popular these days for people like us our generation.
Nestor Aparicio 06:54
Well, I would say that the fact that my wife had eyes for the blue one, and the white touch that thatโs really it. Thatโs an awesome looking. Turner is ahead. Just like you put me in that Bronco couple years, I got a big blue, you know, indigo blue Bronco. So, so Iโm thinking about this and lo and my thought, Is it a hybrid? Does it have plugs? These are the things Iโm thinking now. One more thing. Can we talk about cars one more minute, I promise Iโll do Lamar, because this is
Dennis Koulatsos 07:24
one. This isnโt legitimate porch around here. Thatโs what we do.
Nestor Aparicio 07:27
This is legitimate family meeting. So my what I said to my wife, I went into Yelder you and I did Monday morning. You know, we did the tampering day together. You and I on the radio. And I went I said look, Dennis has threatened to ship that car over here. He knows where we live. And sheโs like, oh, so she literally and this is real world stuff. So you got to talk me out of the tree on this one. Okay. Sheโs She She is old school. 31 years worked at Verizon. Sheโs an engineer. Sheโs serious. She is old school credit union still has your credit union in Hampshire. Right? She said man credit financing. Like, see what Dennis is doing on that? Because like, she didnโt like what her credit union had to say. Ah,
Dennis Koulatsos 08:12
your timing is excellent, too. Because just yesterday, Nestor Ford Motor Credit announced some special financing. And guess what? The Broncos sport? What? Yeah, you can get Dogen
Nestor Aparicio 08:24
Oh, Jen, are you are you Jane? If youโre listening, you gotta come in and go and
Dennis Koulatsos 08:28
2.9% for 60 months.
Nestor Aparicio 08:30
2.9% for 60 months. All right. Or 4.9 for 72 months? 4.9 for 72? Yep.
Dennis Koulatsos 08:40
So two nine for 64 929 Thatโs exactly right. Two nine for everybodyโs gonna take the two
Nestor Aparicio 08:48
the masks upside down and four nine I think right thatโs the
Dennis Koulatsos 08:51
deal. Yeah, itโs a deal man. Iโm telling you they just just announced that
Nestor Aparicio 08:56
all right, well donโt sell the blue that she doesnโt know itโs itโs Euler blue. Now I donโt see it
Dennis Koulatsos 09:02
after this morning. If I didnโt sell it Iโm going to send it to you guys
Nestor Aparicio 09:06
donโt donโt do that donโt
Dennis Koulatsos 09:09
have to look for it.
Nestor Aparicio 09:10
Oh boy. Here we go. That means he sold now heโs getting me worried now heโs getting me all have to find it. Yeah, all right. Well, weโll see what Hey, so can you give me a quarterback?
Dennis Koulatsos 09:23
Oh, how about the left for a mood available? About the right tackle? Who got the left tackle money Orlando brand Junior this young man I Lamar Jackson should call his agent. I donโt know if you saw the numbers on the contract he got from the Bengals but I am if Iโm the Ravens. Iโm licking my chops if youโre gonna protect Joe Burgess Blindside.
Nestor Aparicio 09:44
Yeah, itโs a fascinating case study with him from Hey, Dennis. I ran into him at the combine. So I havenโt Orlando Brown.
Dennis Koulatsos 09:54
Well, youโre youโre faster than he is. So of course you would run. Well. Run it to him with a calm mine.
Nestor Aparicio 10:00
No, no, no, we we went to the Combine every year until they made it bad. Now I have been told theyโve made it good. But Iโve been thrown out by Chad steel. So I like we didnโt go. But I had been told if we go back, it might be a worthwhile radio because of where they put the the radio people that you can grab guests. And you can actually do radio and youโre not down the hallway around the corner in a convention hall. So where they want to keep you away from everybody. So Orlando Brown was doing the weightlifting thing. And the weightlifting thing and the podium thing. Weโre in the same area. Theyโve done it differently through different years. This was the year that Orlando Brown did it. so have at it. Weโre out there out there with Lou, weโre working with Rick Neuheisel on our you know, I remember being out there and all that. And we were looking for him, not because maybe the Ravens were drafted, but because heโs used his kid. And I probably Heโs probably in pictures of mine, right? And Zeus and I were whoa stead to the end of his life, you know what I mean? And so I introduced myself, he was polite to me at a roundtable where like the media sort of gaggles and gathers but it was just he and I literally nobody wanted to talk to him. I mean, no offense, he just, it was just he and I, I had him I had all the time I needed with him. And I said, I got pictures of your dad that you might want. You know, send them over to you. You know me, hereโs my card. Hope you get drafted high. Thatโs the day he bombed, right. Thatโs the day everything went wrong. I swear to God, right. So the next day or two happens, he does his interviews. He is on the big screen as he shared getting desiccated, upon by everybody, because it was so terrible, right? And I swear to God, Dennis, Luke and I flew separately. Iโm pretty sure for some reason we flew separately. Maybe Luke has a recollection of this, maybe youโd have to ask him. We were in the end, I was in the Indianapolis Airport for sure. In the big circle, new part of the airport. And thereโs Orlando brown leaving flying back to Oklahoma, or maybe Atlanta. Weโre home was for him at that moment. Right. And he saw me and I saw him and heโs on every TV in Indianapolis where thereโs jock autocracy going on. I mean the airportโs full of kids with training bags and agents and trainers and coaches and people coming in and going out because thatโs what it is. And I saw him on the way out and I greeted him and I you know and heโs had you know like he knows he didnโt do well right and then damn if seven weeks later heโs not here and damn if whatโs itโs been six years seven years however many years itโs been since a man that that day he is now whatever he tweeted out he is mmm and like whatever put it on his shirt and four time pro bowler and two time champ I mean heโs all of that and now he got paid and you and I still donโt think heโs a left tackle and neither caster well he got a
Dennis Koulatsos 13:03
four year $64 million deal which is well short at the top of the market for left or right tackle so he got to below market but still for him for him for his combine workout for him dropping down to the third round. I mean his numbers were so bad I remember this like it was yesterday Nestor his 40 time was so bad that no offensive lineman whoever ran that slow made it in the NFL and that was my concern as a Ravens fan is like okay we got him in the third round is even going to make the team so they took a shot at him and on him and he made it pay off for himself and I give him a lot of credit Heโs done a great job marketing himself love this the story about his father wanting to play left tackle Iโm not trying to be disrespectful I donโt believe that I as father was a right tackle and I think Linda Brown Jr. is a very good right tackle but Iโm very happy that he got the big set contract with the Bengals and the Ravens are going to see him twice a year I think it bodes well for for Baltimore.
Nestor Aparicio 14:01
You know whatโs really interesting man and and we can talk to whatโs happened to me or you or this or that or the knee or the changes or Steve Saunders or Ray Rice or Steve Ashati you know being off in la la land or empty seats we can talk about all of these issues with the team where itโs you and me bitching and itโs civic and they havenโt won and they have one playoff games and whatever Are you donโt like the parking you donโt like the crime whatever the issue is on any of it. It is amazing how many Raven guys leave here with bad vibes lately, right? Like the Shawn Elliotโs popping off. Why, you know, but he canโt wait to get back and beat the rate. Like itโs an I know itโs itโs um, itโs masculine and John I want to get even and that goes is oldest sport, and Iโll hear that but I donโt know that it felt that way when at Heartwell Are Kim herring are like any of these people, lots and lots of guys left your part Scott didnโt like have it out for the Ravens. When he left it. It feels weird to me because it feels like not just the training room. What happened a couple of weeks ago where guys are like, they cost me my career. But just guys that feel like they left under a really bad vibe. And then thereโs Lamar in the middle of all of this. And I, I just scratched my head about I donโt know, because youโre an employer, Iโm an employer, we have x employees that appreciate us donโt appreciate us all of that. And youโre like, hey, Orlando Brown, and the Ravens gave him a chance. The March x and the Ravens gave him a chance, you know, but it doesnโt work out that way in business once it gets to this point. And I donโt know why Lamar would want to go play for the Colts or like, one of these places because they pay him the most but seems like heโs going to this week. I mean, it really does, right.
Dennis Koulatsos 15:51
It comes down to money. And the other thing is just that itโs a new era, like Lamar Jackson likes to say 20 years ago, the player didnโt have access to media, like they do today. Right. I can imagine that Trent Dilfer, the day after he got caught cut by the rain was would have been very vociferous on social media.
Nestor Aparicio 16:08
He was on my show four years later,
Dennis Koulatsos 16:11
but it wasnโt immediate and instant as it is today. Like today, they just they just pick up their phone, right? Like you just showed us. You picked up the phone. And they just tweeted out whateverโs on your mind. So I do think itโs just a new era. Players express themselves openly on social media. He talked about employees they will know Glassdoor not to give him props, but were 20 years ago when employees can can slightly organization weather fairly or unfairly. So everybody has an immediate voice these days. And thatโs why I think youโre seeing what weโre seeing. I think itโs always been there. disgruntled employee, theyโre gonna be just that disgruntled right and when you get traded when you get cut short, you want to beat your old team. And some guys have class and say nothing and other guys are going to emote Deshawn Elliot for instance, I mean he was hurt more often than not when he played in Baltimore that wasnโt the trainerโs as fault he breaks and whatnot the fractures thereโs nothing that trader could could have done about that.
Nestor Aparicio 17:04
Well, I it is amazing to me how that vibe literally in my era I mean, I go back to guys getting cut and leaving and Rob Burnett went played Miami and Spencer Flint like all of these guys went did other things and still had I mean thatโs not a bad word ever about you know anything
Dennis Koulatsos 17:26
at one Bolden retired or rabid? Right thereโs thereโs plenty of good here in Baltimore. Marshal yanda gave a very heartwarming speech last year at the stadium his retirement speech etc.
Nestor Aparicio 17:39
Zach or right these guys are working for the team right youโre gonna
Dennis Koulatsos 17:43
have youโre gonna have the vocal minority the old 8020 rule right 80% are going to be happy 20% are going to be mad about whatever and so to me itโs noise itโs just that noise has been amplified in the in the era of instant communication right the Twitter Instagram whatever these guys Patrick queen, scrubbing his Arabians account going quiet and posting pictures of himself fishing which you know, I love to fish but if Iโm the ravens, Iโd like to see him in a weight room working that verse catching bass out there in Georgia.
Nestor Aparicio 18:11
Well, and there really is this offseason, Austin them war, right. Between the Players Association, and everything associated with football. I give my life to you eight months a year. These are the four months where I look I had Chad weaseling on this this week, right to plug what Iโm doing around because Iโve had Peter King on this week. Iโve had Chad weaseling on this week. Iโve had Aaron Schatz who invented DVOA and pro football, I mean serious people on all week to try to look at this Lamar thing in a not fan way or just immediate way but trying to put different hats on and chat weaseling was among the best guest Iโve had longtime agent local agent represents Josh Jacobs just had his player franchise lives here in Canton. You know, his wife and I were family or friends and Nacho Mamaโs and like, and I havenโt had him on the show, and I donโt bug him much. And he comes to the Super Bowl radio row and brings his players by and weโre, you know, weโre friends through 25 years. But Iโm like, You need to come on the show this week, man. You need to come on. Yeah. And he came on in the middle of the tampering period and went 38 minutes deep with me about what an agent does for a kid. And what a and how and what babysitting, travel arrangements, anything like that. But more than that a filter to say before you tweet, call me and yell at me before you reach for your phone because like, I canโt undo what youโve done. And he talked about his player that was found dead in the middle of the night in a car crash, you know, like, all sorts of things happen. And what is Lamar Jackson, like the internet was all like four oโclock. Lamar has got red shoes on heโs ready to go. Like
Dennis Koulatsos 19:55
who cares? I mean, to me, itโs noise until something happens. Itโs noise. Itโs speculation, people have to speculate and especially on social media. Everybodyโs got an opinion. Right. And everybodyโs an expert. Everybodyโs got a source. I mean, I read something yesterday, which said Lamar Jackson has hasnโt talked to anyone from the NFLPA in months. So heโs not talking to the NFLPA. Heโs not talking to the Ravens. Who is he?
Nestor Aparicio 20:17
doesnโt trust any anybody? Right. Chad whistling and I talked about this. I said, Whatโs the most important thing Chad, heโs like, Well, trust Iโm gonna Oh, stop, stop you cetera word. Hold on big trust. Right. So I, you know, at the end of the day, if they donโt trust you, I mean, look, man, how many times have we seen these young, mainly African American young man from, you know, difficult backgrounds and circumstances in broken situations, sitting with an agent and their mother, often, maybe sometimes their girlfriend, maybe sometimes theyโre a buddy, whatever, whoeverโs the special people in their life, and that picture of Lamar with his mother and the green jacket, you know, bent over and with the phone to his ear, and, like, we see that and weโve all seen Jerry Maguire. Once we like to think of all Patrick queen has been through with his agent, all that in a lifetime, and Eric Weddle has been through we talk about Warren Moon Warren Moon said it hints allegations off the field on the field, you know, Hall of Fame, career different, like all of that, right? endorsements, money, shoes, lawsuits, all of that. The fact that Lamar is five years into this and still thinks this is a good idea. Yeah, I donโt know man. You know what I mean? Like, like somebody tweeted out and like I donโt I wish I could find because Iโd pull it up. But it was a little profane and as Twitter can be, and Iโm it was, it was on the backside of the wn S T Twitter, where itโs like in a timeline of somebody be following follows his back or whatever. And somebody said, the ravens are throwing $150 million around and these teams are jockeying for this kid. And this blankie blanker is tweeting out poop emojis. Yeah, I mean, yeah, and Iโm thinking to myself
Dennis Koulatsos 22:06
back I know the guy that good, good, good, good front of the family. Oh, I
Nestor Aparicio 22:09
donโt even know who that is. Well, congratulations to him. Because because it really did make me say like, no, but heโs right. Are we being serious here? I mean, like, what, where is Jimmer saying this? Whereโs Arthur? Arthur Blank is gone. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gone. So weโre starting to see teams get out of the way. And then the ravens to your point, I donโt know. They got the cap space. And they love Lamar. And I mean, and it feels to me like John thinks he can walk on water in general. So to think that like, they can bring Lamar back in and fix this and love him up and get everything erased. Over $150 million. Like not not over. Come on back. Weโre gonna have minimum wage Come on, in Come on back at market rate was paying you more than anybody was willing to pay you. We love you. You letโs go win a Super Bowl. Do all those things we talked about? Yep. Can they? You know, can they do that on May 10. And have Allah I donโt, these are really tough. These are questions for somebody like you thatโs hired, fired, been through all of that last employees in all sorts of ways and have some seasoning, that John Harbaugh, Steve Bashaud, Eric de Costa have, that this young man doesnโt have a chadway sling. And when you spend time with these agents, and you think this is Christos, or Barry or you know, as a as a 17 year old young athlete, the kind of person whether itโs Leigh Steinberg, pick your agent, pick any agent you want AZ pick anybody you want, but somebodyโs got to go do this business drew Rosenhaus and the fact that it really boggles my mind. And itโs it really does. And the more time you spend around these agents, and they start telling you how complex this is, the more you donโt want their job. But the more you Itโs like being with a lawyer or a doctor, anybody, even a serious car dealer like yourself that like you want to be serious about doing serious about a $40,000 vehicle. I want to know who Iโm getting it from, right? I mean, if Iโm making a serious transaction, this is itโs just tragic. Itโs tragic. It really is.
Dennis Koulatsos 24:17
I suck cars for living, okay, I would never represent myself in a court of law. I will never fly an aeroplane as a pilot. My point is fundamental. I will never operate on myself. You know what I mean? Itโs like these are people who are educated schooled. Been there done that, as you said, seasoned. This is what they do for a living that two or 3% is a minimal number for what they can do for you in terms of affordable year that your contract, no trade clauses, injury clauses, even guidelines that I like to respect a lot like rope one Smith, I canโt help to think that he left something on the table by not having a season agent to him. Heโs a football player. Thereโs nothing wrong with that and Iโm not diminishing or being disrespect. Iโm a car guy, I sell cars, right? You donโt want me flying your airplane though. You donโt want me being your advocate in court for you. Right? So we
Nestor Aparicio 25:08
pay the case of ro Quan Smith though, right? So I just tried to think about this and being a 25 year old best in the world athlete with limited life experience outside of the football experience that you need to have to be the greatest of what you do, which is, you know, heโs certainly among them, right? I mean, weโre talking about a kid thatโs either gonna get 150 or 250 million, but heโs, you know, heโs not coming back to poverty here. Right? Heโs going back to at least $33 million, and itโs 30 million in the bank or should right, or like that, or minus taxes, right. So I, you know, for me, Iโm not of the mindset that, you know, this isnโt a transaction. Itโs just as you grow in life, you learn what you donโt know. And in the case of ro Quan Smith, and this is how Iโm thinking about it with these young men. All of these young men had been put to the underwear Olympics every year itโs thrown back at them whether they have an agent or not, theyโre all thrown back to the day they were left Orlando branch hipping right. We were just talking about yet
Dennis Koulatsos 26:14
he switched agents about a year ago Nestor if I remember correctly, so he got himself not just an agent, but he got himself a different agent.
Nestor Aparicio 26:20
How many guys had been in Lamar Jacksonโs here from beginning with Mark Clayton and you know, sure any of those guys have probably my guy if you need my guy if you need my God,
Dennis Koulatsos 26:34
but now in the air, we have the NFL right the name image likeness. I mean, look at Baker Mayfield. I get he was one one, but I got tired of seeing him on TV. He was doing all the commercials Patrick mahomes was StateFarm on TV all the time. So what is how much money even wrote Quan Smith? How much money absentee? An agent has ro Quan Smith and Lamar Jackson have left on the table? By not having an agent?
Nestor Aparicio 26:58
Well, hereโs where I am with ro Quan Smith and maybe Lamar, right? All these kids every year, go to the combine and they see 32 colors, right? And then the team loves them to your point says Youโre my God. Itโs like my wife saw 30 cute colors. She sees this blue when she wants the blue right? So Jen what the canary when. So Lamar comes here plays happy with this unhappy with that. calluses, bruised feelings. These things happen. Now all of a sudden, itโs like, hey, what about the girl I met at the beach? A couple of years ago. Yeah, I mean, wonder what sheโs up to get it? I mean, that. That Scout loved me that Scout he liked my mother loved him. You know what I mean? So thereโs all of that. Right. That may have happened in Indianapolis where anybody that would have fell in and fall in love with him on tape on film would say I love that kid. Letโs you know, letโs I love the man. I love him now. I love that he doesnโt I love his independence. I love that heโs got a middle finger flying for everybody and wants to win so bad he can tasted pounds on the ground. I love that kid. Right. So there were other people that loved him. Ro Quan Smith goes to Chicago with those losers freezes his ass off loses, loses freezes, like all that he wants out. Right? If he had an agent, maybe he would have been talked into staying. I think we could all agree that if Lamar had an agent, he would be closer to having a deal with the Baltimore Ravens and being happy and having $100 million sitting in the bank right now instead, if you did get injured, but all of these kids think about the next thing and now ro Quan is here and he did it his way. Lamar sees that and says maybe Iโll be a coal. You know what I mean? Like a

you know what rook once miss just saw Tremaine Edmonds from the bills get signed by the bears to a similar deal that he signed with the Ravens rights and Edmonds to me not as good as a player and Ro Quan Smith is with the start Jewish Mr. Schuster get a big contract by the Patriots. While Jacoby Myers was actually a better wide receiver. Heโs looking forward team. A lot of strange things are happening in the NFL today Ness.

Well, Iโll tell you what, Iโm waiting for the purple plumes of smoke. I think weโre all waiting for Jim Mercedes private chat, or Dan Schneider to be doing something illicit. Like all of these rumors are unbelievable. Like I canโt imagine sitting here four hours a day taking phone calls and playing you know the shield to why or why not a maniac like Daniel Snyder would do this to the league and do this is Steve Ashad he of course he would now so Willie will see shimmers say I mean I love me some Jimmer say I really, really do man gave me a great memory last year going up seeing Mike Mills in the band play and Mellencamp sat on the road, but heโs crazy enough to do it. Right. I mean so at any point. I do see I do see the baker Mayfield and heโs thinks of flipping and do like all this stuff, but he also and I know Tampa donโt have cap space and this prop barely doesnโt have interesting little More Jackson, right? Some of this comes down to coaching like Iโm talking to people tend to see theyโre like Mike rabl doesnโt want to run an offense where this quarterback runs in the linebackers. No offense, just not the way heโs gonna play the game. And thereโs a lot of people that felt that way. 31 teams felt that way, five years ago in the draft, and you and I and Luke have talked blue in the face and you want to ever convinced heโs going somewhere because of the bright shiny object thing? I I am so if Iโm happy, I donโt bet Iโm happy. I didnโt put that you and I both $100 down on him going elsewhere because I donโt. And I
Dennis Koulatsos 30:34
still might itโs still early, anything could happen. A lot of posturing. Like you said, you got a couple of owners that are wildcards and Schneider Nursey any you can happen to this same thing with Aaron Rodgers, this dance between Rogers and the Jets go south? Guess what Joe Douglas, Joe Douglas this needs to win this year to save his job him and Robert Sally. So the Jets could also enter the fracas. He only thanks one team. Thatโs,
Nestor Aparicio 30:56
I would say itโs amazing that you and I have done 30 minutes and you just said Aaron Rodgers for the first time, which, you know, in the aftermath of all of that dust up on Wednesday, the notion that that we have a bigger story than that is just and Heโs our guy and he hears the word. Like the minute he goes off to the Colts, you and I are gonna say now we told you whoโs gonna play quarterback? No, I mean, thatโs good. And then all of a sudden itโs the draft and itโs the focus.
Dennis Koulatsos 31:30
And Iโll be Stetson Bennett starting for the Ravens. Are you convinced
Nestor Aparicio 31:33
that the Falcons are really out because of Tyler? Hi, Nikki Are you know what? I mean? Are you kidding me? Iโm not
Dennis Koulatsos 31:37
100% convinced but but theyโre heading that way. There they signed John Smith, the former Tennessee Titans they got from the Patriots, it looks like the facts are serious about moving away, but youโll need one suitor and abatement. Right. And I have to potentially three or four still sitting there to bid from a more exacting service. So this is this thing is far from over. And as
Nestor Aparicio 32:00
Dennis I will be with you on Monday morning and early. I you know, Marilyn, where Iโll be by the time this airs. I mean, itโs either you know, oh my god West Virginia or not. But I before it starts I would just say Iโm hoping for good things and Iโm wearing the red. I wear the oil or blue today for you. I decided I thought this might match really well. Wouldnโt it look nice. Itโs sort of the blue over the red with
Dennis Koulatsos 32:24
if you and Jenna rock running around in that heritage Blue Edition, Broncos sport in Iraq in that jersey, man. Iโll tell you what, itโs a homerun.
Nestor Aparicio 32:32
