LoBianco

With all of the speculation swirling about the impeachment of Donald Trump, during the bye week we are stepping outside the realm of long-form sitdown chats with local leaders and influencers to extend the conversation with some interesting guests with insider observations.

Author Tom LoBianco has some local roots here at WYPR and you see him on a myriad of cable news shows, but his latest book came from covering Indiana politics during the emergence of then-Governor candidate Michael Pence. From Indianapolis to Washington, D.C. we wanted to hear what Lobianco could envision with a President Pence and the aftermath of his book: Piety and Power: Mike Pence and the Taking of The White House.

We will be offering Ben Cardin and Bill Ferguson in long-form during the Ravens bye week at Baltimore Positive.

There will also be more โ€œbonusโ€ conversation coming this week for all of our subscribers.

OUR UPCOMING SCHEDULE:

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16: Local business leader Mark Weller joins us at Rye Street Tavern at 5:30 p.m. for a special Happy Hour from Port Covington.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7: Chair of the Appropriation Committee of the Maryland House of Delgates Maggie McIntosh will join us at State Fare in Catonsville at 9 a.m.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21: We are back at State Fare in Catonsville for an powerful doubleheader with Maryland Speaker of The House Adrienne Jones at 10 a.m. and Baltimore City Schools C.E.O. Sonya Santelise at 11:30 a.m.

We want to thank all of our sponsors, supporters and friends who have allowed this Baltimore Positive platform and movement to become part of your lives and routine. And thank you for sharing our conversations with your community and world!

Hope to see you around Baltimore soon!
