In keeping with our theme of local issues and local solutions, it was our pleasure to welcome Madame Chair Maggie McIntosh to our set at Faidley’s Seafood in Lexington Market for a spirited three-part about serving Baltimore and our future.

McIntosh has served in the Maryland House of Delegates since 1992 and we were delighted to bring her three decades of service and local political wisdom to our airwaves.

In this middle segment, we discuss her enduring fight for the LBGTQ community and the long arc toward equality – a definite passion subject for McIntosh and we took notes!

And don’t worry: McIntosh and Mohler roll up their sleeves on the future education in Maryland and the Kirwan Commission in our final episode later this week!

We have taken some time this month to add some “holiday bonus” editions of Baltimore Positive that will be coming your way in December with Debbie Phelps, Cheryl Bost, Mike Ertel, Joe Giacalone, Isaac Hametz, Marty Schwartz and Frank Kolarek in addtion to our long-form chats with Thiru Vignarajah and the incomparable Wes Moore.

OUR UPCOMING TAPING SCHEDULE:

(Yes…you are invited to join us!)
