Johnny O1

How does local government really work?

No better place to get answers than to sit with those who run a municipality.

Don Mohler and Johnny Olszewski discuss the handoff of Baltimore County government and update our citizens on lots of current issues and potential solutions in the first of a three-part discussion about making the lives of our population better and the role of the city and other counties to grow the region. The word “partnership” is used a lot!

We’ll be back on a regular Monday, Wednesday and Friday release of the upcoming Baltimore Positive episodes and highly encourage you to subscribe through every podcast and social media channel you seek. Don Mohler also writes a weekly blog that this week invoked some old Jets and Colts references as our city was being attacked by the President of The United States as a place “no human would ever want to live.”

We live here. And we love it. And we’re going to make it better!

Now that we’re off of our summer vacation and ready for Ravens football and making Baltimore better, here’s our long-awaited upcoming calendar of events:

THURSDAY, AUGUST 1: Greater Baltimore Committee chairman Paul Tiburzi joins us at 11 a.m. at Jennings Cafe in Catonsville

8

FRIDAY, AUGUST 9: U. S. Senator Chris Van Hollen joins us at State Fare in Catonsville at 9am for a breakfast chat

THURSDAY, AUGUST 15: Reverend Al Hathaway will join us for a crab cake at Faidley’s at Lexington Market at 11 a.m. (We will show him how to pick a crab, “Catonsville” style)

We want to thank all of our sponsors, supporters and friends who have allowed this Baltimore Positive platform and movement to become part of your lives and routine. And thank you for sharing our conversations with your community and world!

We also want to recognize the partnership at Center Maryland the Building Equity: Education Equity And Affordable Housing Conference for their support in being Baltimore Positive!

Hope to see you around Baltimore soon…
