There is a very important set of elections coming locally in our region and we’ll be talking to as many of the candidates as possible before April 28th.

Our featured chat this week is with Baltimore City mayoral candidate T.J. Smith, whose work as a police spokesperson and former officer had many patrons waving hello during our trio of segments at Faidley’s Seafood in Lexington Market to begin the new year.

Our conversation covered all of the ground we have covered with other candidates.

Crime. Education. The business future of downtown and the Inner Harbor. Policing. Quality of Life. The future.

The slogan of his mayoral campaign is: “Think Different” and we began our dialogue with what they means in an election with a wide array of candidates.

Hope you enjoy the first of three chats with T.J. Smith.
