After 16 years of serving the Downtown Partnership, Kirby Fowler will be leaving his job as the President there to take over as the new President and C.E.O. of the Maryland Zoo in the spring. We thought it was an ideal time to chat with a civic leader about two very important organizations for our city and hear from another truly downtown voice about the future of our area and its challenges.

In this three-part chat, weโ€™ll cover McKeldin Square and Harborplace, the markets of Baltimore and how to get families back to places like the Inner Harbor and the Maryland Zoo so our regionโ€™s attractions can remain vibrant.

Nestor, who lives in the area the Downtown Partnership area, had a bunch of specific questions and concerns about his neighborhood for Fowler and the role of the next mayor.

This will be a big week ahead for Baltimore Positive!
