The COVID-19 crisis has shuttered so many of our key local institutions of history and education. Places weโ€™ve all been and love and canโ€™t wait to return when this is all behind us.

Over the past few weeks, weโ€™ve been reaching to so many of these special places and finding out what their plan is during and after the corona virus shutdown.

Rebecca Hoffberger is the founder and visionary of the amazing American Visionary Arts Museum on Key Highway just a few blocks from Nestorโ€™s home. Weโ€™ve attended so many functions there in recent years and never heard the whole story of how it all came together and where itโ€™s going. Once she said the Venezuelan arepas are coming via our friend Irina Stein after the COVID shutdown ends, she got our attention.

Clearly, a lot has changed and itโ€™s happening very quickly โ€“ and crisis management has become the key role for all us during the pandemic.

We are all in this together and this is a time to educate, unite and keep each other safe. But we also have some extra time to read and learn and educate ourselves in many ways.

We will continue to produce high-quality, intelligent conversations with thought leaders throughout this pandemic at Baltimore Positive. And we expect to do it at a rapid pace so stick with us and subscribe!

Like all others, we have halted a โ€œlive scheduleโ€ and will continue to launch our chats as we have them during this crisis. Expect more than less.

Because of the election moving to June 2nd, we will be having more of the mayoral candidates back to Baltimore Positive to discuss all of the current issues and the additional five weeks of virtual campaigning for the hopefuls.

Please subscribe to Baltimore Positive and stay with us.
