We have been bullish in our support on the Kirwan Commission and education for a future generation of Maryland students. It is the most important item in Annapolis in 2020 and we will seek to educate and inform all residents about the value of lifting our children in the community.

And for Episode 81, new Maryland Senate President Bill Ferguson joined to discuss the significance of Kirwan and its value. This is a lengthier episode than usual because the subject demanded more depth. We hope you enjoy it!

Note: Ferguson joined us before his new appointment in late October to replace Thomas V. Mike Miller in Annapolis so our conversation doesn’t reflect his new appointment but certainly speaks volumes as to his appeal from his fellow Democrats throughout the state.

Orioles continue to contend in AL East despite injuries and slowly warming bats

It's been far from perfect but it's been good enough for the Orioles to remain very much in the hunt in the American League East as the scuffling Boston Red Sox come to Camden Yards this weekend. Luke Jones and Nestor discuss the Birds taking two of three in Kansas City and tip-toeing through all sorts of injuries, cold bats and a bullpen that's provided much-needed relief to help them hover near .500 while awaiting better health and Camden Yards cooking.
