Trying to jump-start a passing game mostly stuck in the mud since early October, the Ravens elevated a pass-catching option from the practice squad while downgrading another to out for Sunday’s game in Jacksonville.

Hours after ruling out rookie tight end Isaiah Likely with an ankle injury suffered late in the week, Baltimore officially elevated veteran wide receiver DeSean Jackson from the practice squad. The three-time Pro Bowl selection will be appearing in his second game for the Ravens and first since hurting his hamstring in the Nov. 7 win at New Orleans. The soon-to-be 36-year-old made one catch for 16 yards in 11 snaps before exiting that game against the Saints and missing last week’s win over Carolina.

The Ravens also elevated outside linebacker Julian Stanford from the practice squad and promoted veteran cornerback Daryl Worley to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. To make room for Worley on the active roster, Baltimore placed rookie cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (hip) on injured reserve, meaning the fourth-round pick out of Alabama will miss at least the next four games.

It’s unclear what happened to Likely, who hadn’t been on the Week 12 injury report until being listed as a limited participant in Friday’s practice and designated as questionable to play against the Jaguars. The 2022 fourth-round pick out of Coastal Carolina had caught a touchdown in back-to-back games before the Week 10 bye, but he made only one catch for a single yard on his three targets in last Sunday’s 13-3 victory over the Panthers. Likely’s absence could lead to the NFL debut of fellow rookie tight end Charlie Kolar, who was a healthy scratch last week after he was activated from injured reserve during the bye.
