BALTIMORE — Left tackle Ronnie Stanley was sitting out for a second straight week as the Ravens hosted Denver on Sunday.

Having injured his left ankle in the Week 11 win over Carolina, Stanley missed last Sunday’s loss at Jacksonville and practiced on only a very limited basis this past Wednesday and Thursday. The 2019 All-Pro selection didn’t take part in Friday’s workout and was officially listed as questionable on the final injury report. The versatile Patrick Mekari was again starting in Stanley’s place.

As expected, cornerback Marlon Humphrey (ankle) and safety Kyle Hamilton (knee) were active after practicing fully on Friday and being designated as questionable. Hamilton missed the Jaguars game after hurting his left knee against the Panthers while Humphrey missed a handful of fourth-quarter snaps against Jacksonville after turning his ankle.

Outside linebacker David Ojabo and tight end Charlie Kolar remained healthy scratches as the two rookies continue to wait to make their NFL debuts. Joining them among the healthy inactives was fellow rookie cornerback Damarion Williams, who was deactivated for the first time in his career after appearing in the first 11 games of the season.

Prior to Saturday’s 4 p.m. roster deadline, the Ravens elevated veteran wide receiver DeSean Jackson and second-year defensive back Ar’Darius Washington from the practice squad to play against the Broncos. This is Jackson’s third and final elevation, meaning the Ravens will need to move the 36-year-old to the 53-man roster for him to play in future games without being exposed to waivers.

Baltimore also placed wide receiver Tylan Wallace on injured reserve and promoted wide receiver Binjimen Victor from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. Wallace, a 2021 fourth-round pick out of Oklahoma State, hurt his hamstring this week and will now miss at least four games.

On Saturday, Denver placed wide receiver KJ Hamler (hamstring) on IR and activated running back Mike Boone (ankle) from IR.

Any list of questions for Bisciotti should begin with Tucker – and anything else we've missed since Lamar was drafted

Do you have your own "Dear Steve Bisciotti" list of questions? We do. And we will, as Luke Jones will be in The Castle on Tuesday afternoon as the Baltimore Ravens owner and general manager Eric DeCosta will address (some of) the local media and take some questions about the search for a new coach after the firing of John Harbaugh this week. Plenty of depth here about the culture of the building in Owings Mills and the future leadership of the football operation.
