The Ravens have listed linebackers Ray Lewis and Dannell Ellerbe as questionable for their Thanksgiving night game with the San Francisco 49ers in Baltimore.
With the news of the Ravens promoting practice squad linebacker Josh Bynes to the 53-man roster and waiving offensive lineman Bryan Mattison, it was apparent they wanted to boost their depth at linebacker with Lewis’ status in doubt and Ellerbe continuing to battle a hamstring and groin injury. Ellerbe had been sidelined for four straight games before the the third-year linebacker made his return against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Cornerback Chris Carr is also listed as questionable as he’s dealt with a back issue throughout the week. The veteran defensive back expressed confidence that he would be ready to play against the 49ers.
Defensive tackle Arthur Jones will miss his second straight game as he continues to deal with the effects of a concussion sustained against the Seattle Seahawks two weeks ago.
For San Francisco, running back Bruce Miller is listed as doubtful, but offensive standouts Frank Gore, Braylon Edwards, and Michael Crabtree are all probable against Baltimore.
