After making his first career NFL start on Sunday, Ravens cornerback Sheldon Price has been placed on injured reserve with a biceps injury.
With starting Shareece Wright waking up Sunday morning with back spasms, the 6-foot-2 Price started opposite Jimmy Smith in the 16-10 loss to Washington, but he lasted only four defensive snaps before leaving the game. At the time, the Ravens announced it to be a hamstring injury and said his return was questionable.
The injury opened the door for rookie Tavon Young to play outside in the base defense as he took all but four defensive snaps in Week 5.
To take Price’s place on the 53-man roster, Baltimore re-signed veteran offensive lineman Vladimir Ducasse, who was with the team in the preseason and was one of the final cuts made in early September. With right tackle Rick Wagner exiting with a thigh issue at halftime and left tackle Ronnie Stanley out for the second straight week with a foot injury, the Ravens were forced to shift Pro Bowl right guard Marshal Yanda to right tackle and to use reserve Ryan Jensen at Yanda’s position in the second half on Sunday. The maneuvering left the Ravens with only James Hurst as a reserve lineman for the rest of the game.
The 6-foot-5, 329-pound Ducasse has appeared in 79 games and has made 22 starts in his first six NFL seasons.

There's a healthy debate that Manny Machado might be the greatest Baltimore Orioles draft pick ever but that was a long time ago. Boo him, or cheer him, but the ghosts of Camden Yards' past return as Luke Jones and Nestor welcome Mister Miami and the San Diego Padres back to Birdland.
