Dear John Harbaugh: How many of the lies do you think we believe?

Making commercials when you win; hiding without accountability or the expectation of it when you lose. And, lately, you lose far too much…and hide far too frequently. And that starts with your owner and oozes into your locker room. And manifests with wealthy, entitled players hiding in defeat. It’s beyond a “bad look.” It’s what losers do – and true champions would never even consider. Accountability is optional for the Baltimore Ravens but the scoreboard and standings don’t lie.

The magic of Lamar returns in Miami homecoming win over stinky Fish

The triumphant return of Lamar Jackson on Thursday Night Football gives the Baltimore Ravens hope to overcome the lost 1-5 start and become a playoff “favorite” again. Luke Jones and Nestor discuss a choppy first half but a strong finish in a 28-6 win over the hapless Miami Dolphins in a homecoming for the two-time MVP quarterback.

Luke Jones and Nestor take DeCosta and Harbaugh to task for lying about Lamar on injury report

The fiasco over putting Lamar Jackson as a “full” participant on a Friday afternoon injury report when he ran scout team and they knew he wasn’t going to start on Sunday has just begun for John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens. His “excuse” was far less than believable as Luke Jones and Nestor also take general manager Eric DeCosta to task for pushing the gambling line five points on a Saturday in the NFL with pretty blatant dishonesty and “gamesmanship” for no one.

So, Lamar isn’t really playing? What are the Ravens hopes now against Bears?

Our Luke Jones attended the Monday practice in Owings Mills that Lamar Jackson missed. We sounded the alarm on him not playing on Tuesday morning. Turns out, he’s not playing. Now, the Baltimore Ravens have two games in four days next week and we’re reading the purple tea leaves about the desperation of a 1-5 football team on the edge of disaster.

Leigh Steinberg: For the love of the Dodgers and why second chances are helping QBs in NFL

We always enjoy our chats with NFL super agent Leigh Steinberg about quarterbacks, contracts and league issues but when it’s World Series time in Los Angeles, the lead story is always his first love of the Dodgers and summer nights at Chavez Ravine. Don’t worry: we talk Lamar and Mahomes, too!

It’s one step at a time with the tricky hamstring of Lamar Jackson

Sure, Lamar Jackson was back on the field in a “limited” role on Wednesday in Owings Mills. That’s a great sign. But, as Luke Jones and Nestor discuss the return of No. 8 to the practice field, no one is sure what two hours of football on Sunday against the Bears and Thursday night in Miami is going to look like in the speed of the NFL on the field.
