Back in March 1999 while in Havana, Cuba covering the Orioles historic baseball visit and Fidel Castro, he ran into Woody Harrelson and Andy Summers in La Bodeguita del Medio and convinced the legendary Hall of Fame guitarist from The Police to join a local band.
