15. Chris Davis (2012) and Reggie Jackson (1976) each hitting home runs in six consecutive games

Jackson’s run in Baltimore lasted only a year before he bolted for New York and Davis is better known for hitting a franchise record 53 home runs a year later, but each Orioles slugger made a list of only 19 players in major league history to homer in at least six straight games when they did it in 1976 and 2012, respectively.

Davis’ hot finish to 2012 carried over to the start of 2013 when he homered in each of the first four games of the season and knocked in a remarkable 16 runs over that time, propelling him to one of the best seasons in franchise history. However, it was his work at the end of 2012 that landed him next to Jackson and on this list of impressive streaks in local sports history.
