In our search to find all of the great things happening in Baltimore that move our community forward, all roads and conversations led us back to the most ambitious project on the waterfront near downtown – Port Covington.

Marc Weller is a senior real estate developer from Buffalo via Montgomery County who has emerged as one of the leading voices of positive change in Baltimore with an infusion of money, energy and ideas for turning Port Covington into an exciting new community just to the south of downtown.

We wanted to hear the whole story of how Under Armour, Kevin Plank and Weller partnered to bring a massive civic idea to Baltimore.

In the first of three episodes with Weller, we learned of his background and passion for building projects that change communities for the better and how he wound up being so bullish on Baltimore and its future.

We continued here in the middle chat on the topic of changing South Baltimore and creating an inclusive 21st century neighborhood with a vision toward the future.
