Wen2

Recently, Dr. Leana Wen was named one of Time Magazineโ€™s 100 Most Influential People in the nation and we found out just why during her Baltimore Positive visit.

Dr. Wen joined us at Jennings Cafe for a three-part, wide-ranging conversation about pregnancy and Planned Parenthood and the future of health care in America.

We were honored to spend time with one of the brightest lights in American medicine and health. This is the middle chat, which begins with her familyโ€™s remarkable journey to the United States from Shanghai.

Our third and final chat is coming on Friday. We are also putting together some bonus Baltimore Positive chats later this week that will appear through the Thanksgiving holiday and into December.

(FYI: Nestor accidentally put the WNST logo instead of the Baltimore Positive logo on the video portion of this but proudly claims it as a cross promotion to honor Lamar Jackson while the Ravens are in first place!)

OUR UPCOMING TAPING SCHEDULE:

(Yesโ€ฆyou are invited to join us!)

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14: Mayor candidate Thiru Vignarajah joins us for an hour on the future of Baltimore at Faidleyโ€™s Seafood in Lexington Market.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21: We are back at State Fare in Catonsville for an powerful doubleheader with Maryland Speaker of The House Adrienne Jones at 10 a.m. and Baltimore City Schools C.E.O. Sonya Santelise at 11:30 a.m.

We want to thank all of our sponsors, supporters and friends who have allowed this Baltimore Positive platform and movement to become part of your lives and routine. And thank you for sharing our conversations with your community and world!

Hope to see you around Baltimore soon! Audio Player
