9. Anthony Mitchell and Ray Lewis score fourth-quarter touchdowns to lead the Ravens past Tennessee in the 2000 Divisional Round

Before the Ravens developed one of the best rivalries in the NFL with Pittsburgh, the Tennessee Titans were their top adversary in the old AFC Central as these teams met in Nashville with a trip to the 2000 AFC Championship game on the line.

With the game tied 10-10 early in the fourth quarter, Al Del Grecoโ€™s 37-yard field goal attempt was blocked by defensive end Keith Washington and returned 90 yards for a touchdown by backup safety Anthony Mitchell, a name few fans knew prior to that day. A few minutes later, Titans quarterback Steve McNair threw a short pass to running back Eddie George, who had the ball wrestled away by 2000 Defensive Player of the Year Ray Lewis for an interception.

The menacing middle linebacker scampered 50 yards for a touchdown, putting the final nail in the coffin of the No. 1 seed Titans and sending the Ravens to their first conference championship game. Baltimore would need to win two more games to raise the Lombardi Trophy, but it was this win over the Titans that made Ravens fans believe they were a team of destiny.
