Yes, it’s time for football season again in Baltimore! As much as we never “stick to sports” at Baltimore Positive, this week we’ll take a long, hard look at the state of the Baltimore Ravens franchise with the man who knows it the best. Team president Dick Cass joined us at our newest downtown set at Ruth’s Chris Pier 5 for an extended conversation about the NFL, its future and the role of the football team in our community.

We’re happy the preseason is over but we did manage to discuss an annual August thorn not only for Cass and the Ravens but for the entire sport and the 18-game debate.

We covered a lot of ground with Dick Cass in three segments. This is Part 2.

We have been doubling up on guests lately so you’ll have even more reasons to come to Baltimore Positive and subscribe to our podcasts and videos and watch and listen from any device in the world. We are trying to have a regular “release” schedule but we have more episodes than we have days!

Next week: make sure you catch our lengthy chats with Baltimore super agent and mensch Ron Shapiro, who discusses the role of mentoring from Faidley’s Seafood at Lexington Market and Reverend Al Hathaway from Union Baptist Church, who discussed the history of Baltimore and poverty with us at Jennings Cafe on Thursday.
