The seventeenth day of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour presented by The Maryland Lottery, Goodwill, Window Nation and the Restaurant Association of Maryland featured a day at the beach and stop at Crabs-To-Go in Berlin and some local attention on the farm at Burley Oak Brewing.
The sixteenth day of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour presented by The Maryland Lottery, Goodwill, Window Nation and the Restaurant Association of Maryland featured a beautiful morning drive across the Bay Bridge to spend the day in Salisbury. Mayor Jake Day & Delegate Carl Anderton were great hosts at Mogan Oyster House and a pair of after dark beers at Evolution and Burnish. Plus, the Secretary of Kindness Grace Foxwell Murdock, one of our favorite guests.

It’s finally here for another crab cake and brewery packed month of summer fun and Weis conversations to celebrate 31 years of Nestor doing radio on Baltimore airwaves.
On Day 4 of the 1st Maryland Crab Cake Tour in August 2021, Nestor awakened in Ocean City and moved west to Salisbury for an afternoon of civic discussion about the town everyone passes on the way to the beach. Mayor Jake Day and a whole contingent at Fratelli’s were very kind to us. So kind that the Secretary of Kindness came by for a chat, too.

Of course the Fratelli’s crab cake is delicious: the recipe came from Greektown and East Baltimore. Nestor’s #CrabCakeTour of the Shore takes him with the Mayor of Salisbury to the restaurant where he got his first gig as a busboy.
This Maryland Crab Cake Tour was designed to meet new people and learn new things. At least Nestor was honest with the mayor of Salisbury when he told him he’d never been off Route 50 in Wicomico County.
