The king of Pie Style in Hampden, Hot Rod Henry of Dangerously Delicious Pies crosses town into Dundalk to serve Nestor and his pal Bill Yerman some 25th Anniversary Pineapple Right Side Up Pie at Drug City. Rock and roll, dive bars and the perfect apple pie on the road were on the savory menu.
The 23rd day of the Maryland Crab Cake Tour presented by The Maryland Lottery, Goodwill, Window Nation and the Restaurant Association of Maryland took us to a place we hadn’t been in many years – Timbuktu in Elkridge en route to see Duran Duran at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Nile Rodgers stole the show but Timbuktu can stick those pimentos in my ‘cake anytime.
