Thiru 200

As we continue discussing the future of Baltimore with a wide variety of local thought leaders, this holiday week we’ll once again return the most important decision our citizens will face in 2020: electing the next Mayor of Baltimore.

Thiru Vignarajah is running for the top job in Baltimore City and we had a lengthy chat about a wide range of subjects but it always comes back to violence, crime and ways to stop it in our city.

Vignarajah says he has a plan to get the annual murder rate below 200. We listened.

We will get to his crime plan in our final episode before Thanksgiving.

We have taken some time this month to add some “holiday bonus” editions of Baltimore Positive that will be coming your way into December with Debbie Phelps, Cheryl Bost, Mike Ertel, Joe Giacalone, Isaac Hametz, Marty Schwartz and Frank Kolarek in addition to our long-form chats with Adrienne Jones, Sonja Santelises and the incomparable Wes Moore.

We’d be “thankful” this holiday season if you subscribe to Baltimore Positive and make it a part of your weekly routine!

OUR NEXT BIG EVENT:
