Cassie

We saw the blaring cover of this month’s Baltimore Magazine while socially distanced and wearing gloves and mask at the supermarket checkout stand:

“How To Fix Baltimore”

Right away, we knew we needed to have a lengthy chat with senior editor Ron Cassie. As you can imagine, there was a lot to discuss here based on a myriad of interesting ideas, talking points and recommendations from the BMag staff. And quite a history lesson for those of you that don’t know about the 1948 election that changed our city.

Clearly, a lot has changed and it’s happening very quickly – and crisis management has become the key role for all us during the pandemic.

The next two weeks at Baltimore Positive will feature mayoral candidates and education and university leaders intertwined.

Don and Nestor have been extremely active the past two weeks having meaty conversations with some exceptional and aspirational people.

We are all in this together and this is a time to educate, unite and keep each other safe. But we also have some extra time to read and learn and educate ourselves in many ways.

We will continue to produce high-quality, intelligent conversations with thought leaders throughout this pandemic at Baltimore Positive. And we expect to do it at a rapid pace so stick with us and subscribe!

Like all others, we have halted a “live schedule” and will continue to launch our chats as we have them during this crisis. Expect more than less.

Please subscribe to Baltimore Positive and stay with us.

We were built for this…
