John Randle 02:31
I’ll be somewhere somebody be like a regulator. And my kids what he’s talking about, I’m like, I don’t know. Let’s get out of here.
Nestor Aparicio 02:42
Like you that love to talk and you know of that era Ray Lewis obviously Baltimore came out with a dance and all that the entertainment part of football was something not lost upon you.
John Randle 02:55
It’s got you ready for the game? I mean, like, for me, I’m before the game. Today, days before I didn’t wanna take a shower for two days. To me just kind of got me that right frame of mind. You want to get dirty? And as
Nestor Aparicio 03:11
I said to you, are you so crazy? Yeah.
John Randle 03:14
I know what you’re talking about. I’m talking about that was the plan football. Like, you know, it’s like singing that song that Madonna did. This used to be my playground. This used to be my pride and joy.
Nestor Aparicio 03:30
Please I want to do carpool karaoke with you. That’s what I want to do. Let
John Randle 03:33
me know we’re doing
Nestor Aparicio 03:35

John Randle 03:42
Oh, my God I listened to was one group called him 83. It’s a different group. But anyway, listen to my Google it. I listened to all types of stuff. Country, man, just depends on the mood of man. I’m getting ready to go to boot camp. In the morning. I got some, like some nice mellow music. Like YouTube’s they’re working out a lot. Yeah, like just doing like, yeah, like, do a bootcamp Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. And then I do like walking on a treadmill Tuesday and Thursday. And Saturday.
Nestor Aparicio 04:13
Once an athlete always you know, you’ve seen a lot of guys go the wrong way. You know what I mean? gain a lot of weight. I’ve seen so many offensive linemen that have really slimmed down. You would never know they’ve been played foot.
John Randle 04:23
I know. Well, you got to look at it. You. You invest in different things out there when I invest in your body. You know, so that’s what I do and work out take care of it. And love you bye. Don’t hate it. Where’s home for you these days? Minnesota is still there. Yes, sir. My wife from Minnesota and so you got that you
Nestor Aparicio 04:39
fall in love with it or not this time of year. I mentioned. We’re down here and Luke, you must say one of the really nice parts of Houston this week has been we’ve left winter and it hasn’t been an awful winter. No, but we flew down here and we’re we’re in 75 degrees. Yeah. And at nighttime you go out and get a beer sit outside nice. And you know I’m going to Australia so I’m flying in Australia. Summer, but I hate winter and as I get older, I hate it and like I love Minnesota when I’ve been there. It’s the nicest people. It’s clean. It’s friendly. I mean, your fit senior is gonna take me over to a printer studio. Yeah. Do you have to have your era? Tell me a story you’ve never told you’re not even allowed to tell? Do you party over there? Come on now, right. I mean, that is such an iconic legendary thing I had Larry Fitz senior on I know, you know, yeah. And right after Prince died, and he loves baseball, and he loves his son. And we’re talking about sports and about the Vikings. And he’s such a sports writer forever. So I love that one. And then I just add a random throwaway question like, Do you have a party with the purple one? And man, he went 10 minutes about partying, going to bed and what a neat guy Prince was and what a legend he left in Minnesota and
John Randle 05:52
he’s, he was a guy that prints some time to come into place. And he wouldn’t know he was there. He just sit there and just
Nestor Aparicio 05:59
how many times did you cross but did you know friends? Yeah. Brands brands probably
John Randle 06:03
about 10 times to see him out. And that was Prince and he loved the Vikings. Right? Oh, yeah. Right. Yeah. Minnesota. I mean, we for for prints, Kirby Puckett the man was able to stare just they were like for me curry puck. He was the first guy I ever met in Minnesota. Or as Gary. Cool. Yeah. But I’m almost stuck in the snow embankment. So I’m trying to get my car out. And this guy pulls up in a title Land Cruiser. He pulls up, and he’s like, you need a hand. I’m like, No, I don’t need a hand. I can do this man. This guy’s in. And so I get my crowd. I go to my teammates apartment. I’m sitting down watching TV and all of a sudden gone. Dude, I’m trying to give me a hand. Right. There. You go. That guy. It’s great to know that is my Kirby Puckett Well, it’s
Luke Jones 06:58
kind of a big deal.
John Randle 07:00
Can we plug it in like though? Man Jesse
Nestor Aparicio 07:02
Ventura ran for governor Kirby could have run for governor
John Randle 07:05
oh yeah mad about it right yeah. I think pressured ran for governor president a nice gun Yeah, he would have he would have governed liberal maybe like everything purple.
Nestor Aparicio 07:16
We’re replacing the Constitution with a symbol.
John Randle 07:21
Chris has spoken.
Nestor Aparicio 07:24
You know your ERA Brian Phillips with your friend and partner, Danny green. And you know, I think it’s a shame the Vikings that I know you feel similarly. But for that fan base there next year. We’re gonna have a Super Bowl up there. Yeah, sure. You’ll be a big part of that in the beautiful stadium and I’ve been to Target Field a bear. I again, I love Minnesota. I ran into Mike Chernykh from a Mall of America. He’s up here promoting next year of all trying to drum up interest. It’s gonna be good Super Bowl. His health.
John Randle 07:50
It’s gonna be awesome Super Bowl. It’s gonna be unbelievable. You know, there’s the new restaurants opening one’s called random. Really?
Nestor Aparicio 07:59

Yeah, it’ll be it’ll be 10 degrees. We get there that mean you can’t go take a walk in the dark, right? I mean, but next year, what’s one thing I should discover? Spend an hour or two and go to in Minnesota that was off the beaten path.
John Randle 10:00
I just have me here we have a huge pond hockey tournament. There’s about like, 12 different hockey rinks going on.
Nestor Aparicio 10:05
Can you skate? Oh, do an athlete.
John Randle 10:09
Yeah. But is there an app for that too? I can skate because I know you can’t really skate i by skated probably about 15 times. I’ve done it. Got rollerblades. Oh, we see you what skates? Funny. Yeah, it would be like that. It’d be like the infomercial with that. Big guy doing a big sumo wrestling commercial. Yeah.
Nestor Aparicio 10:34
Listen, I mean, I know you made some money. But if you ever get down on your luck, try comedy. I mean, I think I you know, I paid 20 bucks to see you tell jokes for an hour.
John Randle 10:43

So they were like, can you do my shirt? And I was like, okay, he played the violin. Yeah. See, when I was growing up as a kid. I grew up in a very abusive household. And the violence saved me. It took me away from all that pain. And just
11:16
