Two platters so nice that we had to think twice before we included them both in the 27th Anniversary TastyNes countdown. Our concert promoter pal Paul Manna bumped into Nestor at Costas Inn in Timonium and was given the royal treatment of Crab Imperial and Oysters Rockefeller in the new space at the racetrack.
The new Costas Inn above the grandstand at the Timonium Racetrack and Fairgrounds is now open and thriving. Costas Triantafilos was a giant of a man in my community because his presence was omnipresent. His authenticity, beauty and kindness, displayed over a lifetime, leave no words here that will ever convey. Not many folks know a community like Dundalk, a place like Costas Inn or a man like the man whose life and business was profiled by Vice just 15 months ago, capturing his absolute essence brilliantly.
The WNST 25th Anniversary celebration is just getting underway but we began our fun at Costas Inn with Dennis Koulatsos and the only member of the Triantafilos family who isn’t too shy to tell the amazing Dundalk family story of coming to America with a dream.
