Marcella Knight of Koco’s Pub joins Nestor for a food review of what makes local and neighborhood an elevated experience

We get the privilege of going all over town with our Maryland Crab Cake Tour but nothing takes it back to the old neighborhood like an afternoon at Koco’s Pub in Lauraville and doing the show between the kitchen and the bar with Marcella Knight, who has been celebrating 40 years of local business by making even more of her mother’s elevated and amazing crab cakes.

It’s the people who elevate the neighborhood vibe at Koco’s Pub in Lauraville

Marcella Knight and Nestor share stories of an old friend and the village of Lauraville

Without ruffling feathers, our friend and Koco’s Pub proprietor Marcella Knight told Nestor tales of the beautiful stories of Savannah Jane, her red macau that was a life lesson in love, care and aviary freedom on “A Cup Of Soup Or Bowl Week” in Lauraville for the Maryland Food Bank. And true lore of the late, great Harvey Myers, potty parties and NFL games at the Emerald Tavern before the Ravens came to Baltimore.
