Everyone who has ever met Nestor knows that Amicci’s in Little Italy is his favorite restaurant on earth. And everyone knows about the world famous Pane Rotundo. But it’s time to share his favorite personal pairing – the meatball and ricotta marinara appetizer sliced and assembled across bubbling, toasty garlic cheese bread and served open faced. (This isn’t a real menu item. But if it was they’d call it “The SloppyNes” because this ain’t your father’s Sloppy Joe and it’s certainly no ordinary “meatball sub.”) Get a fork and a bib!
