When we bring “A Cup Of Soup Or Bowl Week” on the road every February, these are exactly the kinds of stories we seek to tell so you’ll get involved. Meet Robin Emrick, who tells Nestor the incredible story of Ann’s Toy Closet in Essex and holiday joy for children and struggling parents in East Baltimore County.
Our final stop for “A Cup Of Soup Or Bowl Week” was at Kooper’s North in May Chapel, named after a dog, so it was appropriate that Kate Bell brought Nestor her safety story of true love for senior dogs. Reed’s Rescue, whose mission is to provide care for older dogs, often overlooked in shelters, by placing them in foster homes and finding them adoptive families, was named after a dog named “Reed,” whose name was inspired by a certain Baltimore Ravens’ Hall of Famer.

She returns to “A Cup Of Soup Or Bowl” at Costas Inn to update us on the incredible work of her Camp Opportunity, which provides a summer experience for abused children to see nature and find care and make friends.
