Welcome back WNSG Towson, Baltimore. And Baltimore positive we are positively back on the beat here for Halloween for the middle part of this less than compelling World Series and for the residue of kind of a weird choppy victory out in Phoenix, Arizona. Weโ€™re gonna get the Maryland crab cakes weโ€™re back out on the road I have these fantastic Raven scratch offs to give away. Weโ€™re gonna be double crab taking most of November in December. Itโ€™s a couple of weeks down in October. Weโ€™re getting back after a lot of places I got to visit. A lot of new places we have to go. Governor Moore is going to join us some air Scottโ€™s going to join us we have the new inner harbor thing happening. We have an Orioles lease situation happening all thatโ€™s happening. Itโ€™s all brought to you by our friends at the MER lottery conjunction with wind donation as well as Jiffy Lube MultiCare Of course our sponsors keep us going around here. Iโ€™m wearing my Raskin global shirt. I also I now have an abundance. I almost feel dirty because we won the basket Leonardโ€™s event two weeks ago that I have several and I got the one with a really heavy print of the Rascon global on the on the crab mallet here. Hey man, how you doing? Itโ€™s good to have you back on and I I was away a little bit. By the way, it was hockey at Las Vegas in addition to football in Las Vegas. They started seven Oh, yeah. Everybody was talking about I knew they were seven. No, because I was walking through Vegas and I heard people literally say they won seven games. I mean, Vegas has become a little hockey town here. I know. Well competition for you capsules. But everywhere I went there were murals on the Stanley Cup Championship there in Las Vegas. Now

Leonard Raskin  01:37

they want it I mean, itโ€™s this new. I donโ€™t know how they did it. I guess they they changed the way you do the what the Expansion Draft. So the data bet better chance of being good. These teams can be good sooner, so theyโ€™re more competitive sooner. And it clearly is work because Vegas went to the Cup final first year and then lost to the caps. And then fourth year they actually won which is just stunning.

Nestor Aparicio  02:05

Itโ€™s a proof and forever that ever. If you can get everybodyโ€™s 17th best player and you get a couple of draft picks. You spend a little money put a couple you get a Gaussian and you get a goalie get a goalie. Well, I mean the Cavs had to play against their own goalie if youโ€™re five years ago. So but but the Vegas knights are a perfect example of when it goes right when it goes wrong is when the Arizona Diamondbacks or in the World Series 25 years later and still have trouble selling their tickets when the Arizona Cardinals plant themselves down in the desert 40 years ago, and they build them a dome and when the teams won and said isnโ€™t

Leonard Raskin  02:47

it amazing? Itโ€™s an amazing stadium. That place Iโ€™ve been there a couple times. It is really, really a great place. I mean, as domes go as domes go, I think itโ€™s a really great stadium for for what they built out there. I just think they donโ€™t know how to build out there. So yeah, the sports arenโ€™t the big thing. Most people theyโ€™re transplants, you know, they moved out there and theyโ€™re, they like to see their team. I have some friendships

Nestor Aparicio  03:12

8

with Vegas just as done the Vegas marketing thing is theyโ€™re The Misfits of the desert that everybody comes to Vegas from other places. And it was okay to get on the bandwagon.

Leonard Raskin  03:24

Right They got love they figured out how to market love of their team and brought brought it there. I mean, the the Knights have a following. Thatโ€™s huge. It doesnโ€™t matter where youโ€™re from. Youโ€™ve dropped, youโ€™ve dropped your home team in favor of your new home team.

Nestor Aparicio  03:41

Thank you so weird, right? Because like the Raiders are there and youโ€™re like what rays are coming? Yes. You could gamble anywhere. So I guess itโ€™s not like I went to 50 casinos and Iโ€™m like I can go to Hollywood. Berryville get to get better odds than Vegas, right?

Leonard Raskin  03:57

I donโ€™t know if you saw last week I threw up a meme on Facebook. There was thereโ€™s a guy I donโ€™t remember his name. I think heโ€™s Ottawa I think he was a senator who is suspended for 41 games in the NHL for gambling while while the team sponsor on the side of the helmet is casino or online betting track

8

Nestor Aparicio  04:22

changing your money players that you manage money

Leonard Raskin  04:25

players man what a quandary you canโ€™t you canโ€™t bet on teams but you got to wear casino logos on your jersey. And during the game we talked about the parlays and and the whoโ€™s going to hit what and the how many runs Gus is going to have and and but you canโ€™t bet but weโ€™re telling everybody around you to bet itโ€™s stunning to me. It really is a different world man. Iโ€™m these these guys in their 20s just got to be confused. Well, it is

Nestor Aparicio  04:57

amazing when you go to a town wherever that town is. is and you see what itโ€™s dominated by I spent I went to Greenville, South Carolina everything thereโ€™s Clemson right not not South Carolina, Clemson stuff in that world. And, and I was out in Vegas and the Vegas Golden Knights swag was just on people. I mean everyone walking around even even in tourist areas there people in casino workers wearing and encouraged to wear. There is something about the pride of all that. And I guess that brings us to the football. I wasnโ€™t trying to avoid a victory in Arizona because I want to let you it

Leonard Raskin  05:34

was a win. It was a win a good win. Until the last two minutes it looked like it was gonna be a blowout win that it looked like it was gonna maybe be a loss.

Nestor Aparicio  05:44

First thing I thought is, you know, my Hollywood casino I make the picks every week. Weโ€™re Christian, youโ€™re on the show. And Iโ€™m like I took the Ravens at nine and a half. Most of the day that was established smelled delicious in the end last

Leonard Raskin  05:58

bad beats as they say and

Nestor Aparicio  06:01

it was a bad beat as well. But from the Ravens perspective give me I mean your season ticket holder youโ€™re going down there the next right weeks theyโ€™re gonna put three in a row at home it feels like probably feels like you havenโ€™t been to a lot of guy knows

Leonard Raskin  06:13

crazy couple, just a couple. But hey, wins a win. Win. As they say when itโ€™s all said and done. Nobody cares how much you won by just that you won. And thatโ€™s all that matters. So when heโ€™s six into six into looks good and big leading to division. Pittsburgh looks like Pittsburgh. We threw a game away to them. Bengals won a game. Okay, good. Where they four and three fantastic.

Nestor Aparicio  06:41

Not just they won a game. They won a game San Francisco. They won a game with their quarterback doing doing the things that made them good. Oh,

Leonard Raskin  06:49

yeah, yeah. But I think the bloom the Bloom is off the rose, shall we say for Mr. Purdy? I think somebodyโ€™s figured it out. And hopefully on. I think itโ€™s Christmas Day, right Christmas Day. We play San Francisco. We somebody has figured out how to make Mr. Purdy throw interceptions. And heโ€™s now very prone to that. Heโ€™s he had none forever and he was Superman. The next coming of Joe Montana. And then suddenly, heโ€™s three three games vulnerable. And heโ€™s human rookie. Making mistakes quarterback throwing the ball up for grabs, saying I donโ€™t want it you take it.

Nestor Aparicio  07:31

And a lot of that going on the league. I mean, youโ€™re being forced to the sidelines as I have been I would have been in Arizona I was out in Vegas all week. I actually know the Cardinals PR guy for 25 years I was denied credentials which disappointed me but I flew home got to watch all the games I get to watch all what quarterback play in the league to have Kirk Cousins go down right to have Matt Stafford I mean, hit is on a helmet and like, you know,

Leonard Raskin  07:57

weโ€™re watching Rod Taylor down by Rod Taylor. My

Nestor Aparicio  08:00

man tie right in the hospital the other night like five,

Leonard Raskin  08:03

five starters. five starters heard on Sunday. It was a tough day. Itโ€™s a tough day for quarterbacks and these arenโ€™t the running guys. These are the standard the pocket throwing guys. It makes it tough man this league. What do we got? We got 3032 teams. Is that right? Thatโ€™s correct. 32 teams of football probably have before the seasonโ€™s over. Youโ€™ll probably have 7080 quarterbacks play. I mean, look at the was the Sunday night game. The bears. Whoโ€™s this guy?

Nestor Aparicio  08:34

Yeah, it was great story totally equal. Agents. Badgett? Yeah, whatever Yeah, bagent bagent. Like as we get to know all these kids parents and their stories. Yeah, itโ€™s a great story. You

Leonard Raskin  08:45

can make it to the NFL from nowhere, but but then you got to win. He won again. He won his first game. And suddenly Mr. Fields who is hurt was never going to be the bears quarterback again because of this kid. And then the kid played football against the chargers and they beat him. They crushed you

Nestor Aparicio  09:05

mentioned Brock Purdy as being an example of when it goes right I mean, thereโ€™s plenty of examples of when it goes wrong. I mean, Josh stops running around out there you wouldnโ€™t even on the team. You couldnโ€™t even buy his team jersey in week three in Arizona and theyโ€™re probably

Leonard Raskin  09:20

his last game right?

Nestor Aparicio  09:23

Do something kind of monumental the beat the ravens and by the way, the Ravens defense Luke and I have spent you know half the morning discussing this defense and I talked about it all offseason if people were listening to me and think I might know a little bit about something about 32 years of doing this in the same way you know a little bit about investing money and take care of peopleโ€™s money. I said all summer, all this Odell Beckham and Bateman and Andrews and throw and Lamar 6000 yards. Thatโ€™s not who they are what they do, and even with Derrick Henry being rumored and out and I said if the Ravens get Derrick Henry theyโ€™re the Super Bowl. Theyโ€™re the favorite for me for several reasons. Theyโ€™re healthy right now. Yep. And the defense as itโ€™s constructed healthfully is the better part of ball by a lot

Leonard Raskin  10:13

out absolutely stout. Although, I donโ€™t like you know, I donโ€™t like garbage touchdowns I really hate that. I donโ€™t know what they do at the end of the game that they decide just to let these guys run and score. I would I mean, they, theyโ€™ve given up what 13 points a game, and they were at 10 and then suddenly theyโ€™re at 24. Before you know it, itโ€™s like what the heck is that nonsense. Especially against Josh Dobbs. I mean, the guys are the guys Gardner Minshew without a mustache Come on.

Nestor Aparicio  10:43

I need to see offense operate not like perfectly like last week, but just at a rate in a in a consistent fashion. Whereas I feel like these next three weeks at home no matter what the weather is big toe. The ravens are the better team all three of these weeks Seattle Cleveland Cincinnati win winning games games, it doesnโ€™t need to be a perfect effort. You just have to win and no interceptions and fumbles happen right but just the efficiency of first down winning on first down

Leonard Raskin  11:16

is converting on third down and converting on third down youโ€™re right and and winning third down letter. Well there you go. Thatโ€™s even better. But they theyโ€™ve they have a chance. Letโ€™s face it, they have a chance over the next three weeks to put away the division. youโ€™ve knocked the Browns out. Youโ€™ve knocked the Bengals out. Two wins against both of them on the road and home. You have a chance to put the division away. So this is a big three weeks theyโ€™re home like you said theyโ€™re healthy. The Derrick Henry thing you know that would be ridiculous. You could read him for the end of the season I guess and call it a day if heโ€™s willing to come and you donโ€™t have to give away the store. But

Nestor Aparicio  11:57

if the store is a second round draft pick I mean the 55th pick in the draft who cares? And the long play for me and youโ€™re the money guy by the way Linda Raskin hear from Rascon global empowering people to choose their financial futures so readily grab Mel you can find the rest global but the money part of this from a salary cap perspective and everything you know about the cap and money and weโ€™re Lamar is it 21% of the cap theyโ€™re going to have the same problems we have with Flacco What 1415 1617 Yes mounts to say how much of the cap is the quarterback because Matt a BK playing himself off the team Geno Smith playing himself off the team. Patrick Quinn. Weโ€™ve had him off the team from the beginning because weโ€™re not going to pay him right. So you all that being said, it feels like could they win the Super Bowl with Gus Edwards running the ball? 19 times. Maybe? I mean, I

Leonard Raskin  12:49

donโ€™t know what I donโ€™t know.

Nestor Aparicio  12:50

I donโ€™t know your boy. Dobbins was a big big oh, what they course would be doing every single week

Leonard Raskin  12:57

cracked out is Achilles. That guyโ€™s just. Heโ€™s the I donโ€™t remember the guyโ€™s name. Remember Gulliverโ€™s Travels. Gala. Yeah. Lilliputians, werenโ€™t they? The Lilliputians the one guy? Oh, no, weโ€™ll never make it. Weโ€™ll never make it. Yeah. Like, like the cloud over his head is just poor Dobbins. Man. Heโ€™s Heโ€™s a dude who worked his way to get all the way back and then boom, Achilles. God knows

Nestor Aparicio  13:21

youโ€™re new to the program. Leonard loves Ohio State. So

Leonard Raskin  13:24

Ohio State, thatโ€™s where the boy goes. Thatโ€™s where the money goes. Thatโ€™s where the allegiance goes. Who had a who had a big weekend in the jump around Wisconsin. Badger beat down. Man, Iโ€™ll tell you you want to hear harsh. You want to hear harsh. You just go on and Ohio State Facebook fan page. Oh, holy cow.

Nestor Aparicio  13:46

These amazing all these years? Station taking call like I thought he loved the team. Do you hate Hey, I love the team. I canโ€™t

Leonard Raskin  13:52

believe these people. They hate the quarterback. They hate the coach. They hate the running backs and all they are is ainโ€™t no. Theyโ€™ve beaten Notre Dame on the road. Penn State at home, Wisconsin in Wisconsin on a Saturday night when they were supposed to be like a three point favorite. Nobody ever

Nestor Aparicio  14:10

done that you ever gone to Camp Randall?

Leonard Raskin  14:12

I have not It shouldnโ€™t I have not yet? You should have done

Nestor Aparicio  14:17

that they played out there this year. So yes, yes.

Leonard Raskin  14:19

junior, senior. Itโ€™s over. So already senior senior graduating in May.

Nestor Aparicio  14:26

Well, if I would tell you if you want the big house, go to the big Madison. I had a good time in Madison was Thanksgiving

Leonard Raskin  14:32

weekend. Big House. Michigan, the big house Saturday night. Youโ€™re going to that one. Go to the Big House Thanksgiving Saturday. Thatโ€™s the plan.

14:41

I hope you have a ski cap. Ski can

Leonard Raskin  14:45

read the weather. Youโ€™ll be chilly. Yeah, but the question is can you wear red in there? Can you wear the scarlet into the big house and and live? I donโ€™t know about Michigan people. I donโ€™t know. Thatโ€™s well. Iโ€™ve worked

Nestor Aparicio  14:58

last names hardball and they cheat, right?

Leonard Raskin  15:00

Thatโ€™s what they say. Right? Itโ€™s a big, ugly, big ugly scandal going on up there. This this guy,

Nestor Aparicio  15:08

and it involves Jim John horribles former assistant, who used to email me all the time. Matt Weiss was the guy who emailed me all you want to meet with John, which I did all the time off the rails. I wrote, My Dear John letter. I met Matt, we set the door to get in.

Leonard Raskin  15:22

Yes, somebody somebody was scooping signals from advanced scouting. And thatโ€™s illegal in college. Although whatโ€™s funny, if you think about it, whatโ€™s illegal is you canโ€™t go to the game and photograph the sidelines. Allah. I think, Bill Bella check did some of that or something. videotaping the sidelines? Yeah. So youโ€™re not supposed to do that. But you can watch, like a sideline fee to the game on YouTube. The week after? I donโ€™t know. I guess thereโ€™s other ways to do it and what they did, but they were pretty apparently overt in there.

Nestor Aparicio  15:57

Well, the espionage part of all of their doing what makes John hardball the weird. Freaking dude, he is, you know what I mean, like, the paranoia and all of it thatโ€™s involved in all of

Leonard Raskin  16:09

it. And Jim or John? Both? Both? I know them both. Well, yeah.

Nestor Aparicio  16:16

But I but I would say that and itโ€™s part of the gene from their father, probably the gene of competing and having competed and who they are as human beings. But the whole cheating part and the lack of integrity part of all of it. And the fact that you feel like the walls are being tapped, John hardball feels that. Like, as Luke, when you get a moment, look at what itโ€™s like out there. And John pretends to be this prince and whatnot. But the notion that the most paranoid people about cheaters in my personal Dundalk experience are the ones who cheat.

Leonard Raskin  16:55

Look, you listen to what people tell you, they tell you who they are the people that say you shouldnโ€™t do this shouldnโ€™t do that you shouldnโ€™t do the other often the ones doing it. Thatโ€™s thatโ€™s across the board. Itโ€™s like a safe

Nestor Aparicio  17:05

streets thing that Iโ€™m going to talk about or whatever, the marijuana, whatever. But the inside skinny on all of that is if youโ€™re taking people who know how to be criminals, and you donโ€™t

Leonard Raskin  17:15

put oversight, and you give them money, and you give them money.

Nestor Aparicio  17:19

What well yeah, itโ€™s just sort of like if you know how to cheat you think a lot about cheating. And and this goes to the hardball family. And it goes to both of them. Theyโ€™ve all been guys working in the gray area of what the rules are and what they can get away with under the purview of that guy might be cheating me. We got to play Bella check. You know what I mean? Itโ€™s itโ€™s, itโ€™s weird,

Leonard Raskin  17:44

apparently, apparently. And again, nobody knows because itโ€™s all in the in the midst. Apparently the Ohio State coaches and whoever they are, you know, they they who I wonder who they are. But they alerted TCU last year, well in advance of playoffs that Michigan had their signs. And TCU apparently changed up their game plan and their signs for the playoff game and beat Michigan.

Nestor Aparicio  18:20

Itโ€™s sort of like when Greg Brady when when the playbook got stolen. Do you remember? Linda Raskin is here he is global. Weโ€™re having a laugh at trying to have some fun, right? Sometimes I should check the comedy box for what we do right here on the weeds. It just the Ravens perspective on all of this? Yes, theyโ€™re super bowl contender. Absolutely. For that we wanted that for the baseball team. And we saw what happened in October we got Arizona and Texas playing baseball week. Nobody cares. But for the Ravens right now. This is as prime an opportunity. The bills are a little down the Bengals are trying to figure it out. Patch Scott bass was sick. Sheโ€™s got beat. Yeah. Like you know, Miami looks to be a one a lopsided kind of team to that. Where is that pathway in January to a by playing the dolphins at home on a snowy day a cold day and then having to go to Kansas City. And or not? Can they navigate that? Can they stay healthy enough? And the thing that I love about the team right now and I know Iโ€™ll get Iโ€™ll be a chink sky is theyโ€™re healthy. And when theyโ€™re healthy, they should go out to Arizona be up 24 to seven when theyโ€™re healthy. They should be beaten sold out of the lions at home. And theyโ€™re healthy now. And they have three home games. I want to see them dominate two games and I want to see them show that theyโ€™re the better team with the bank. They Seattle coming here at one oโ€™clock in the morning or one oโ€™clock in the afternoon. 10 oโ€™clock. Yeah. That they should beat Seattle, Cleveland, Cleveland, Cincinnati on short rest a little bit of a weird game there. But Leonard if theyโ€™re nine in two with 10 days off, West total

Leonard Raskin  19:59

Thatโ€™s what Iโ€™m saying. Thatโ€™s a big thing for Thanksgiving, put away, put away the division and happy turkey day. Thatโ€™s what it should be. It should be nine into going into Turkey. Thatโ€™s it. I mean, and the pie is so late. But that that could be beautiful, because you can rest up and get ready for some place to

Nestor Aparicio  20:18

West Coast games. And they had, you know, back and forth. I mean, they have a really rough week getting back from San Francisco Christmas week. You know, so like, they have some tough to fly,

Leonard Raskin  20:29

right? They have to fly, right? They went to London early. I donโ€™t know if thereโ€™s rules about when they can take the team out west and

Nestor Aparicio  20:35

they could do whatever they want. I mean,

Leonard Raskin  20:38

practice that Scottsdale all week, Tuesday or Wednesday, whatever instead of Friday, just a lot of money

Nestor Aparicio  20:43

to the organization to do that. Just just your money guy. I want to take the team out there for five days. Thatโ€™s pretty thatโ€™s gonna cost us $2.2 million to do that,

Leonard Raskin  20:53

but price you pay to win you just got 600 million from the state get over it.

Nestor Aparicio  20:58

Well, I mean, but like to point like if I were to ask Bob eller what that cost them five years ago when they went out? Yeah, I lived in San Jose a week for that week because they had the two games out Yeah, yeah. And they decided to do that and then John said Nope, that wasnโ€™t good. We didnโ€™t like that. But London went wrong and then they took them out there a week earlier and it went right this

Leonard Raskin  21:19

letter asking for it is hard to the east to the west hard last thing

Nestor Aparicio  21:22

sports because I gotta get this in with because I didnโ€™t give you any chance talk caps. Weโ€™ll do that next week. Yeah, but the Oilers jerseys and see all weโ€™ve seen all these throwbacks Are you and I are like hamper

Leonard Raskin  21:33

Tampa creamsicles you once theyโ€™re

Nestor Aparicio  21:37

sort of gearing this at more so than like your son or my son even they want

Leonard Raskin  21:41

to show another jersey to the kids that have never seen the beautiful?

Nestor Aparicio  21:45

Well, I tell you what the Euler thing was was trashy to me and I love me some all hours and I drink to seeing them all or Jairam love you believe jerseys out there again. But you see hood is filthy. I mean it just give those jerseys to the Texans and let them wear them you know, I mean, if that like if thatโ€™s what you want to do, but like having them were the Houston Oilers jerseys, because they were that they were the Tennessee Oilers for a year. I made me a little itchy Leonard wearing brown jerseys

Leonard Raskin  22:21

or colts jerseys, either one. Whatโ€™s the point? No, I get you there. I get you there leave it with the team that that is donโ€™t donโ€™t yeah, that would be

Nestor Aparicio  22:31

damn good, though, then weโ€™ll let this kid play great in it. If we ever put on

Leonard Raskin  22:35

a brown jersey that would be that would be terrible. That would be the time to everybody to call and rant and rave and go crazy on them. That would be disgusting.

Nestor Aparicio  22:44

Next week, Iโ€™m gonna find out why you hate Joe burrow in the Banco so much. But let let us discuss something important because it is that time of the year where my wife works for big company. And you know, I see your TV commercials on this weekend. They had hipster commercials. But you know she gets an enrollment plan. And I think I donโ€™t need to explain to you her insurance. Yep. or cancer or leukemia, bone marrow transplant 155 nights in the hospital how important this is because bad things happen. Nobodyโ€™s prepared for that. And people are signing up for medical programs or financial programs for pay taxes. All of thatโ€™s happening right now. So give me a little two minute primer on that. Because thatโ€™s what Yeah,

Leonard Raskin  23:27

absolutely. So one of the things we do this time of year big time, is advise our clients on what to do with open enrollment benefits. Great, great question. So what you got to do first of all, is you got to make sure you donโ€™t miss it. Know when your open enrollment is happening. Be prepared, be ready for the dates. Literally like yes, yes. Second. There always booklets or online brochures or whatever there is about what your benefits are. Make sure you know what they are. If you have somebody like us, you know we say you got a guy. If you got a guy, send them the booklet, send them to the website, sit down and do a zoom meeting share a screen go through the open enrollment arduous. Even when they bullet point it is huge. Itโ€™s huge. The things you really want to pay attention to that so many people miss you just talked about. You know, everybody understands I gotta have health insurance. Okay, great. have health insurance. Do you want the high deductible plan or the indemnity plan? Do you want the HSA or the FSA? What if you get an FSA? Can you have an HSA? How much should I put in the HSA? Then you go to the big one, after health insurance, disability income protection, youโ€™re going to be out of work because of stroke, cancer, accident, whatever it may be. You want to make sure if the company offers disability income insurance, short term, long term, short term hopefully you have savings in the bank for you donโ€™t need but it doesnโ€™t hurt to get it as cheap, long term critical, insured As for the expenses you cannot afford out of pocket, if youโ€™re at work a month, two months, six months a year, you better have long term disability income protection, that brings in 5060 70% of your income to replace what you canโ€™t earn, when you canโ€™t work, almost every company offers it. And you better make sure you take it and most companies offer it when you first start your employment some some offer it during open enrollment that you can get new coverage. The point is, if you have an illness, you may have build yourself out of that benefit by not taking it at some point. But every now and then a company will offer open enrollment, no insurability proof you can just offer and accept a benefit. Long Term Care another one, whatever in the about in the future. If you need long term care, youโ€™re at home canโ€™t work, or in a facility, long term care nursing facility. Nobody likes to talk about it. But guess what it happens. And if you canโ€™t afford to pay for it, you wipe out your familyโ€™s wealth in no time. Weโ€™re talking 10 to $15,000 a month for care. If itโ€™s available, you might want to take a look at getting protection for that. And then last but not least, life insurance. People think oh, I got one time I salary two times my salary. Thatโ€™s enough. Itโ€™s not enough. If you think about it, if you have family youโ€™re gonna leave behind especially if you have children that are counting on your income your family is counting on your income 15 times your income 15 times your income is the amount of life insurance you should consider owning on your life. If you make $100,000. That means you get 100 And excuse me a million and a half dollars a life insurance you earn. As you pass your family earns four to 5% on that money that just replaces the $100,000 of income lost 15 times most companies offer like two or three maybe sometimes again, even if youโ€™re sick, a company will offer the chance to buy up additional term group life insurance without proof of insurability if youโ€™re not insurable, and you can get life insurance through your company, you canโ€™t get it anywhere else. Thatโ€™s a godsend. Thatโ€™s a huge benefit. So this time of year, usually end of October beginning of November into the middle of November is when most companies have their open enrollment. Get your booklets, read your booklets. If you donโ€™t understand the booklet, tall your HR people absolutely call us. Weโ€™re happy to help you go through your benefits and understand whatโ€™s going on. If youโ€™re not working with us find us. If you canโ€™t work with us or donโ€™t want to work with us, go to your HR department, sit down, go through your benefits, itโ€™s an hour half hour to an hour in your life. That can have a huge difference. On your long term financial well being if something happens, you canโ€™t afford to let this just pass by and then say oh I coulda Woulda, Shoulda, this is the time to step up and be proactive about what your company offers going forward.

Nestor Aparicio  28:16

We know mask gave you three minutes on it and you only scare me straight. Itโ€™s a kind of a frightening thing that itโ€™s very uncomfortable. If youโ€™re comfortable talking about it, youโ€™re probably doing it too often.
