6. Maryland Terps vs. North Carolina State Wolfpack (March 9, 1974)

How good was this game?  It featured zero turnovers in 40 minutes. Hard to find a better basketball game ever played but in the end the Wolfpack and David Thompson simply outlasted one of the most talented teams in Terps history in a heartbreaking 103-100 overtime loss in the ACC Championship Game. It was the final season that the NCAA only allowed conference winners into the March Madness tournament.
