So if you know anything about me, you know how much I respect Chinese food, how important it is to have a Chinese place. I’ve had one all of my adult life, all of my childhood life. I had char Chow restaurant on the eighth K streets over by where I grew up. But here now, at this point in my life, after many, many years with Young’s carry out downtown, all so excellent, I have found my happy place, happy China, in a general sense. If the food comes in a bag that says, Have a nice day, you know it’s happy. This is happy China. I have spoken at length about my love of Chinese food. My place closed for a period of time, and I was in disrepair for about 18 months, until happy China came along. I ordered the dinner portion. They have lunch and dinner specials. I am a shrimp and broccoli guy. It is always fresh. It is always delicious, and I always have a nice day. I’m very much a creature habit. So this is the meal I get after I do hot yoga, after I’m at Planet Fitness, when I’m at my most fatigued, this is the meal I crave because it has rice, fresh vegetables, delicious flavor, a little bit of egg drop soup. I always get the egg rolls. They’re never too greasy. They’re they’re always light enough. And, you know, I do love me some duck sauce, and I love me some wontons as well. So just fresh, delicious carrots, broccoli, shrimp rice, nothing fancy. Always delicious and always makes me happy. That’s why I made the list.

So this is $17 worth of food, and it’s probably going to feed me three times. There’s another shrimp egg roll in the bag. There’s also some egg drop soup here that’s left over. I I have to get it’s very, very important that you have ground white pepper around the house. So I keep that around the place here, make sure I get that into my soup. But this is always one of my favorite meals. And the best part is, like Jamaican food at your cut, like the Thai food we featured, it’s at Fuji San. This heats up like day two, day three, day four. It gets more delicious. And that’s the thing I love about it. Leftovers, fresh, delicious, nice on the tummy. Happy China like the Partridge Family, come on, get happy man.
