Calling this amazing creation only the “second best” dish in the city is probably heresy but who knew that that a cruciferous vegetable could possibly be this delicious? Go ahead, get the broccoli tempura at any of the three Ekiben locations and tell us it’s not the best thing you’ve ever tasted! And, if you’re really hungry, make sure you get the Neighborhood Bird Bowl, too. Pick up some chopsticks on the way out. (You’re welcome…)

So I’m not gonna lie. I think this place is the best place in the city. It’s number two on the list. It could easily be number one. This is the broccoli tempura, delicious little pots of onion, cilantro, some mintiness. And this deliciously, lovingly prepared broccoli Tempora to dip in this sweet, little dipping, vinegary sauce. I don’t even know where to live. If you come to Baltimore, you live in Baltimore, and you’ll know about echo them you get over there. It’s also the saltiness on top of the base. Unbelievable. Look at that salt crunch, the freshness, sweetness, too salty crunchy, and it’s broccoli. So how bad can it be for you?
