No. 15 Carmelo Anthony (Towson Catholic 2001-02) – After growing five inches between his freshman and sophomore years, ‘Melo became the hottest basketball prospect in the country on the in hill in Towson and all of the college coaches came calling. Anthony left TC for Oak Hill and eventually played just one season at Syracuse, winning a national championship with Jim Boeheim before jumping to a lucrative career in the NBA.
