No. 12 Desmond Armstrong (Howard 1982) – A defender and midfielder during his soccer career, Armstrong played on U.S. Olympic team in 1988 and represented America in the World Cup in 1990 after leading the Lions. He was recruited to the University of Maryland, where he was first team All ACC in 1984 and 1985 and second team All ACC in 1983.
