Back in 2008 when head coach Brian Billick departed from the Baltimore Ravens and wanted to remain in Maryland, he became our partner at WNST.net on behalf of the Living Classrooms Foundation. As a legacy AM radio station that has now made it a quarter of a century as an enduring and truth-telling multimedia outlet on the strength of our partnerships, relationships and the benevolence of special people who serve to lift the community, we’re indebted to Coach Billick for his time, wisdom and integrity. Brian Billick never had any problem telling it like it is – and never lost sight of how important the Baltimore fan base and community were in his success as the Ravens head coach but also as a leader in the city where he brought us a Super Bowl XXXV parade.

This one started out as a legit, total Week 1 on-the-field review and our faux "Power Rankings" but inevitably led to Luke Jones and Nestor discussing the Baltimore Ravens' latest fashion "Next Flight" assemblage and a full inspection of the colors, serifs and markings of the new brand assemblage all around the NFL as we get our rosters set for a long season ahead.
What comes next in Birdland ain't gonna be pretty...
With the Baltimore Orioles circling the drain the next two weeks and then watching the postseason once again from the outside, Luke Jones and Nestor begin to wave goodbye to any reality of a normal offseason in Birdland or anywhere MLB is played with the pending offseason labor war. The decisions about everything will fall to owners David Rubenstein and Michael Arougheti, who have proven hapless and feckless thus far in accountability regarding Mike Elias and the fans paying the freight. Baseball fans here are watching...
Ravens have to look at big picture managing Zay Flowers' hamstring injury
Considering how sensational Flowers looked in Week 1, the last thing Baltimore wants is him being less than 100% for the bulk of the season.
