No. 13 Jim Traber (Wilde Lake 1979) – While more famous for playing first base for the Baltimore Orioles in the 1980s and later spending time as “The Whammer” in Japan playing for the Kintetsu Buffaloes, Traber was a two-sport All-American who moonlighted as a quarterback on Doug Duvall’s teams in Howard County. He played both sports at Oklahoma State and was The Baltimore Athlete of The Year in 1979.
